Missed call Jan. 17th ('14) just before five to one p.m. Dialled 1471 to hear this number rattled off. Got their answer machine stating they are "Pedigree Financial". I'm not sure who to believe if the above person said they're in Stockport and was a pub one minute then something else the next! Are we sure it isn't somebody messing with the phone lines outside to confuse us lot?

This number rings on a regular basis but I do not answer and they never leave a message.

As been mentioned before, I did answer many moons ago and they asked for a 'Laura'  but I don't know any Lauras.
They claim to be a Debt Management Company and yes, they do use other 0161 numbers to catch you out.

This lot of TPS abusers now seem to have possibly resumed their TPS abusing activities trying to sell services to recover Packaged Bank Services charges (a variation on the PPI charge recovery scam with more ripe fruit still left hanging on the tree to pick) under the name of UK Claims People at the same Stockport address although with the new phone number of 0161 667 1660

There seem to be very few reports so far on this incarnation as probably only a few people angered at being called by them were prepared to go through a 15 minute Fact Find interview to check if I qualified to reclaim the Packaged Bank Charges to the point where they finally reveal their identity.  Your phone's CLI will simply show Unavailable when they call and they use one of those automated messages where you are asked to press a number if you are interested in what they are pushing.
