01617700000 is alt lane primary school, oldham. my children attend this school and ive been called by them several times from this number, although i could not say if any other oldham council services use this number, but may do which suggests it could be the councils main outbound call switchboard, hope this helps those who are still not sure whos calling them.

Definitely someone in OMBC; like many I got the instant dial tone on answering the call, and a non-existent number message when I called back..
A nice lady on 770 4084 could not help beyond confirming the call came from somewhere in OMBC.

I had a call off this number today at 3.16pm. I did not manage to answer the call so tried to ring it back, but says number is not recognised. I cannot find out who has tried to contact me, and find it weird I cannot ring them back. Silly!

Had a missed call today off 7700000. Rang it back but number is dead. I came on this site to see who it could be, so then tried Oldham Council on 7706633. It is definitely OMBC. Lady said it could of been anyone within the department regarding a number of different thing, including a school, Lifelong Learning Centre etc.. I have been told they will ring back if it is important. Hope this helps.

This number just called me to tell me my sons due to play badminton tonight after school and it's been cancelled... Strang thing is I only have daughters and none play sports after school. They appologised as they had rang the wrong number, it's a school near oldham.

This number rang my mobile and landline but left no message.  Worried now in case it was,about one of my daughter's. :/

Its ombc its a generic number you have to wait for them to call you back but don't hold your breath!

This number rang me today. It was the sure start centre in failsworth that my child will be attending. They wanted to book me in for an appointment to sign her up for Friday's play. This is also Oldham council outbound  phone number, but it must also be used by schools too.

I had a called from this number this morning, it was my son's school saying he is unwell,so it must be linked to oldham council

its from a school near oldham, i keep getting calls to my home number as I have changed my number and they have not got the correct parent details updated on their system.

This is OMBC - I made a complaint about flytipping and someone from this number called to follow it up.

This isnt the number to call it takes you through to a very nice man in audit centre who says youhave google it and it says to ring this number . It could be anyone in Oldham council but its not him!

This call was from my child’s school.  As it isn’t the direct contact number for the School, I assume it’s a generic Oldham Council number.
