yet another PPI scam.  VERY annoying.  where do they get my number from?

these calls really bug me

just noticed this missed call on my dads payg phone, he died 5 years ago, so are they doing random numbers, or are they just working from a very out of date list

01618149905 keeps calling me, the latest is" they work under the Office of Fair Trading" and the government and could they speak to Clare, (I have told them on numerous occasions there's no Clare here, but they keep ringing me so I decided  to just agree) I was Clare & asked him what was his co's name he said POSITIVE DEBT helping people on benefits, I said I'm not on benefits and I don't owe any debt. With that he put the phone down I tried to redial but the number is unobtainable!!!  So are we "reporting this to? And what will you do about it?

Received unsolicited call this morning said they were from some foreign agency regarding recent legislation. Asked if it was Ppi he said no but was evasive telling me he was ringing to help me. Turned out it was debt solution - told him I didn't need or ask for his help and not to ring me again and remove my number from their database.

I've had a lot of fun with these jokers! I keep calling them back. So far they've answered the phone as 'DS Finance', 'British Councilling Service', 'Debt Settlers' and 'Advisory Bureau'!! Each time I questioned the fact the previous operator used a different name, they denied it!! I managed to get the name of one of the operators as 'Terry Parsons'. Give him a call and ask for him by name. Give him a grilling, it's very satisfying!!

I've been getting a minimum of 4 calls a day for over a month and any time I answer they just hang up after a few seconds. I've tried to ring back but it just hangs up after a few seconds too but doesn't even ring first

man called stated that I had an accident and was I able to give him details of bank I told him I have never had an accident and I would not give details he then started swearing at me and calling me names. I told him where to go but this is becoming a bad joke with these people I suggest no one answers any calls from 0161

Yes, cold canvassers, block their calls and report to Ofcom

this number called claimed to be from a car finance claims company, believed it to be a scam so i rang off, then got another call from same person on phone number 01164361832. I told them it was a scam for definate and rang off blocked both numbers. Do not give persons any information.,
