I have received the second missed call from this company this evening. Thankfully, you have all given me reason to steer well clear of them. How do we officially report the constant harassment as I am already registered on TPS and they continue to abuse people?
There are certainly plenty of reports on here to valid our claims.

Registering with TPS alone does not stop these calls.  You need to report each and every call to them via their website.  It only takes a couple of minutes.  If everyone who is registered did this, we might be able to stop a large percentage of these calls.  Unfortunately TPS doesn't work for Market Research or overseas calls.

Asked me questions regarding my mortgage and which company it was from, because I was unsure he said ;oh for f...ks sake and hung up

This lot are driving me mad.  I have not had any abuse off them yet, but how do we complain about such companies?

This number rang with some one asking for personal information. After being challenged he put the phone down.

Just had a call asking if I had time to do a quick survey about home ownership and that it wasn't a sales call. I said I was registered with TPS and he repeated it's not a sales call. My reply was oh is that how you get round it then? He then offered to remove my details from the database so I hope that is the case.

they are ring every day but they just get the answer machine, never leave a message.  It is really annoying.

I've had a call from a company saying they were H S L.  I was asked for by name.  The caller then wanted to know if our house was on the market.  It isn't.  He then asked if we'd taken out a mortage in the last year or two.  I told him the mortgage finished some time ago.  I then asked him where he'd got our number from, and was told 'it's on our database.'  I asked where his database got our number from, he said he didn't know, but they're updating it.  I insisted that he must have some idea where they'd got our number from, and he hung up on me.  From the background noise I'd say it's a call centre.

Picked up a call from this number and they put the phone down as soon as I answered, its a company doing financial survery, marketing!!! Just add the number to your blocked caller list on your mobile, some home phones allow this to be done also, and hey presto no more calls from the number. Tried calling back and given an 0844 number which has been disconnected.

Three times called me twice not answered as didnt reconise number, rang me this morning asking for home owner told them not home and they put the phone down. Didnt get a chance to tell them i was with TPS.

Rang them back on number 0161 number on where went straight to answer machine saying "this is a home data survey, you do not need to do anything at this time, if you would like to contact us pls call 0844 8262118" Oh and guess what no such number, what sad sad sad sad little people these are.

I wish I could speak Russian, then I would love to answer these calls everytime in Russian!
I would have the last laugh and waste their time!

I've just had a call from 08448262118 which I didn't answer (I have caller display) and immediately googled the number, quelle surprise then when it took me straight to bloody Householder Surveys!!! They have been the bane of my life for over 2 years now.

Their calls used to come up withheld / unavailable (not sure which - just a series of dashes on my phone display) but unfortunately my sister, who rings me a lot, also has her number withheld so I often answered the calls thinking it'd be her.   Almost every time I, or my husband, got a load of abuse from the person at the other end.  We've had personal insults, swearing, "yeah yeah blah blah whatever" and the phone put down, you name it.  And they wonder why we don't want to speak to them!

Lately, the past month or so, we've had no more withheld number calls from them but instead a few from the 0161 number as above.  I've never answered one of those calls as I don't know anyone in Manchester so knew it'd be nothing good.  Today instead of the 0161 number it was the 0844 one instead.  I'm never going to answer any calls from either of those numbers so let's hope they just give up. (Fat chance) I wish this God-awful company would just DO ONE!!!!!

Like other people who have placed a complaint on this number, I've heard what sound like children in the background.  I just don't bother to answer at all now, but annoying when you're waiting for a call and that comes through instead!!

Had more than 5 of these calls in the last couple of days - I'm also supposed to have TPS

They've just called me, when I asked who they were she laughed. Quite rude.

We have signed up to this service and still get these calls- they always hang up whether I let it ring a couple of times or longer

Looks like it is my turn to get these tossers ... twice this morning on jubilee bank holiday ....

This company already have most of your details as they have bought them from some company you have already dealt with. Instead of getting frustrated, do what i do, i spoke with them, fed them a load of spurious details about my mortgage and arranged for someone to come out...forgot i was going away and wasnt around for a while. If it starts costing them money hopefully they will get the message. When i answer the phone to them i just put it next to the tv/radio and leave it. Any genuine company will leave a message! Dont get upset, get even!
