Constant calling even when I say wrong number

These PESTS have sofar tried harassing me off these numbers

All they get now is a dead tone as all calls from 0161 are blocked 😊👍

Called today, and recorded message was left on my answering machine asking me to call them urgently. However, name and postcode was completely different to my name or address, and we've lived here for 11 yrs. Will ignore and block if necessary. I have no debt with anyone.....

0161 968 7065   WARNING THIS IS A SCAM to extort money from you claiming they are Moorcroft Debt Recovery. Don't reply to telephone calls or letters, also it's a premium rate telephone number. If they call at your house demand a copy of the paperwork for your solicitor, they won't give you any. Don't worry or be intimidated by their bullying tactics either. Just call the police!

Got a call from this tonigh, didn't recognise number so didn't answer. Looked number up online and see it is a debt collecting agency. I have no debt at all so just blocked number.

I got a recorded message this morning from Moorcroft asking me to call back which I do not intend to do

the number 01614752957 are debt collectors the company is Moorcroft Debt Recovery Ltd residing in Stockport, they leave no message, sometimes an automated message, I am TPS registered and ICO gov registered and they still get through and have a call blocker on my phone and they use other numbers 01619687065 and 01616608720, its crazy it is just harrassment for no reason they need to be fined

We started getting phone calls from this number 01619687065  they used an automated recording and they were asking for our son Peter Stevens , even though he doesnt live at this address , they were quite insistent that we call him . This has happened three times now . They said they were Moorcroft i asked my son he has never heard of them . So i looked the number up on google and discovered it was indeed this company that has been contacting us . We have had problems with being scammed in the past and i just need advice on what to do next .

Just moved house and got  a new telephone number. They keep ringing and asking for a female i have never heard of. I have told them this but they still keep ringing

Moorcroft debt collection, these people are vultures do not answer them at any cost. Should be a law against these harassment calls. Why don't the government do something about them and other companies like them.

Have just had a call from this number,did NOT answer. Reading the comments other people have put,I am glad I didn't. My number is Ex Directory,so I don't know how they have this number.I have never heard of this Company,and certainly do NOT owe any money. They should be stopped from calling people.If I get another call from them,I will tell them that I am prepared to take them to court for harassment.

Had dealings with this company in the past, they are one of those companies which buy up debt from banks and other financial institutions and then proceed to constantly hassle you with letters and phone calls.  Even when you don't owe anyone anything.

I was the victim of identity fraud a couple of years ago because some lazy salesman at Car Phone Warehouse didn't do any security checks on someone who wanted a £500 handset and O2 contract from them using an address that was 2 years old.

Moorcroft, were a total waste of space when I called them.  Finally got them off my backs when I phoned O2 and spoke to their Fraud Department.

please could you stop phoning for a Mr Dinsdale  There has not been anybody at this phone number call by that name  for the last five year .I have had this number since I move in may 2012.I am very annoy by all the phone call and try phone to tell you all I get is a machine so please stop this at once thank you

Rang Moorcroft today after repeated automated phone calls for a person I do not know.
I phoned Moorcroft direct  at 14:00 hrs with their website phone number, had 'a chat' with them & they agreed to have my phone number removed from their database. 17:30 hrs, the automated calls started again (or should I say continued.)
