Lots of noice on my answering phone: background voices (probably other spammers that got through) but nobody who really left a message. Saw it was this number using my phone's last caller display.

Called my personal line, using just part of my company name, offering a directory listing.  Told her do not ring again

Claimed to be Barthold.com, and similar to Yellow Pages but when i googled Barthold.com - the domain name is for sale

Apparently my firm has been listed for two years on Bartholds.com; I checked and we're on it but cannot remember ever giving details. Asked lots more questions than I felt comfortable with so asked to be removed.

Did not answer as scam/unsolicited number suspected, also I am registered with TPA. 01626 is Bishop's Stortford - I'm trying to find the caller from the rest of the number!

Sorry - correction 01626 is Newton Abbot. Anyone there recognise 01626 818363 form a local directory/yellow pages?

Yes just ignore the calls - it's Russian criminals hiding behind a privacy registrar who work with a British crime syndicate in Manchester making calls from a call centre in Cheshire. Got their number somewhere

01626 818363 Newton Abbot is a Magrathea Telecommunications line. They are linked to a Columbian crime syndicate who also work with Webfusion in Uxbridge. Avoid any company hosting on Webfusion or using Magrathea Telecommunications to make their calls, they're most likely criminals and spammers. Which directory was it? Lots of the smaller ones are run by scam artists.

I keep getting calls from this company sometimes they just hang up other times when they get my answerphone they then hang up without leaving a message - really annoying

Got a call from this number,,but although I could hear call centre noises no-one spoke . Ignore them !

They seem to be active again! Called today at 11 am while I was out fortunately, no message left. Good information Roger! Certainly will not answer this number [the list is growing, thanks to info on this website].

Caller with mid African accent wanted to do survey. Started off innocently but after they became aware of my willingness to give basic info quickly started to move along toward questions such as who we as a company bank with, whether we have applied for loans / government assistance etc, what is our turnover. Fishing expedition!

A lady (English accent) called me just now from this number asking if this was Greenswood Properties Limited (I have no connection with a company of that name).  Hung up when I said no.  Line was a little faint.  Located the dialler's number using 1471 and glad I looked it up on this website.

Missed this call and when called back an automatic message said that we received called to update company data and to press 1 to speak to receptionist. It is just telesales

Definitely bogus. After telling me I had "signed up for their directory" and asking all sorts of questions about my company, when I asked for their details, they said: "That's not how it works" and put the phone down on me. Do not be fooled by the rather dim sounding girl, this is a scam and she obviously knows it.

Just had this call at work. (I work for a company of about 100 employees) We never pass any calls directly to CEO, I said hold the line while I find out and within 30 seconds they had hung up. Obviously trying to get the company to sign up to some useless bogus directory.
