Tel range and hung up once I answered

A prevous comment maligned magrathea communciations.
Magrathea are a totally legitimate company who sell wholesale telephone services, so it's possible that one of their resellers' customers was abusing the service.

Anyway, I came here because I was called by this number and googled for it. The caller hung up the moment they heard my voice - maybe they hoped for a woman's voice to try and scam my wife.

Woman called asking if she could update our data. I said no thanks. She wasn't unpleasant or rude.

Called today (english speaking girl). Kept asking for company, but got annoyed when I wouldn't say who I was. she hung up.

Said they were calling from 'Corp Data' about a business listing we have. Wanted me to give them company information to update their records. Quite insistent, offering to call back at more convenient time etc. Told them just to remove my details.

Call several time a week despite being asked not to. Nuisance caller.

These guys call regularly trying to get our company information for some website we didn't register with. Despite the impending implementation of GDPR they still call... unbelievable!

Nuisance data collection - annual check-in call, "free account" and all that. Unrequested and unnecessary. Told them not to phone again, but I suppose they will.
