We are a recruitment agency, working on behalf of a Sales company. Not suspicious by any means. Any calls made by us are done from people submitting their details to us regarding positions that we have available. We are not selling anything over the telephone. We are only inviting people in for interviews - where their CV's match criteria that would suit jobs that are available within our company.

So this site is now being used for cheap advertising?

No Not at, we were put on the suspicious calls list on this site. All I was trying to do was clear up this matter with everyone who visited this site thinking that we are suspicious.

Yes they are legalised recruitment company, I submitted my CV with them, but unfortunately missed their call. My curiousity made me check the number as I have got many missed calls.

They may be legal, but all is not as it seems with them. Their adverts are VERY misleading and in my experience, not very truthful.

Be careful when dealing with them.....

If "The Klub" is a recruitment agency why dont they have a web site and why do they advertise themselves as "The Klub Advertising Services"

The are actually a direct marketing company, who work under the network of parent companies that decended from DSMax.  I would strongly advise you google them - it will save you time and a lot of money.

Just got a cal from these guys today some lady called and told me i had an interview next tuesday less than an hour after i sent an email... They told me nothing of the job and didnt act like any other recruitment agency i have dealt with in my life....
After much research i found that they are a scam based on the DSMax along with many other companies...
Avoid at ALL costs
SCAM is written all over this

I received a call from Ashley Barrat stating that they had seen my CV and where interested in a role for sales and marketing for one of there clients. I do not recall applying for any such position but my experience in customer service maybe advantageous in such a role so my curiosity is peeked.

If this is a scam, what kind of scam is it? can anyone say, has anyone any hard evidence of being scammed by them?

The klub is not a scam its a door to door agency they do not tell u details bout the work as not many people like door to door so they get you in for a observation day so that people forget about the bad things said about door to door and see what it is really about. So the is not a scam in anyway!

applied for a job on cv-library sales/customer service based in chichester... got a call from the agency saying they had received my application for Contact Centre Manager... 1t time the alarm bells started to ring!!

went along with it and agreed to attend an interview today. I was told i would get an email with job spec and location for interview.

email received. job is in portsmouth not chichester... not a contact centre manager... they dont have a contact centre its all door to door!!

arrived at the address on the email.... its not an office of any description!!! looks like a rundown old town house!! the bloke interviewing me (dave) was only 24 but introduced himself as the managing director... ok so u do get some young MD's but everything about this place was screaming get out!! interview lasted a whole 20 mins! gave me even less information about the company than the original email did! i was asked to come back for assesment day 12-8.30pm and then 2nd interview after that!!!

the thing that got me was.. they say u start as sales agent.. provided u hit targets for 3 months u then become a team manager, hit targets for another 3 months an then u can either decide to move to a different campain or set up ur own business along side them!!!!! what company in their right mind would offer a slice of their own business????

I attended an interview this morning and seem to have followed the same process as you did!  Was your interview in Portsea by any chance?

They have also asked me to attend the assesment day next tuesday!

has been six months now i went to the one in portsea..

I used to work for the Klub, very long hours very little pay.
Sometimes you can forget you are working for under the national minimum wage.
They pay cash in hand and before I was 'fired' the manager told me hes holding on to some of my earnings to cover additional costs.
Basically all you do is walk from door to door selling something that nobody.
Only take this job if you are completly desperate.

Ive just joined this company. Been working there a week in coventry. They do door to door sales at the moment. But we also go to events, and around town etc. Its a commision based job. And it is NOT  a scam atal. The only reason they get back in touch with you so quickly is because they are in need of people to train up at the moment as they are opening new offices around the country. They are constantly expanding. And you have the potential to earn ALOT doing this job. Providing your good at it of course.

I have previously worked for a similar company.

This isnt a scam they work under either the Cobra or Acredia network basically selling products either door-to-door, events or in supermarkets, train stations.

The reason some MD's are so young is because they have gone through the management programme very quickly. You have to train other to do your job and when you have a a certain munber of team members, and have saved enough to cover the cost of an office, paying a admin and such then you are able to set up your own office, with the MD who promoted you taking a percentage of your profit, you then want to be able to promote members out of your office.

This is an amazing opportunity and a lot of people have become very rich of this!

It is all comission based, but it is not hard to do the sales and when I was there I was earning roughly £500 p/wk.  Some of your money is kept behind as people will sometimes cancel or you have the dishonest sellers who will forge sales.

From what I have read you should all pay attention.  This appears to be a scam stay well clear even a former employee has added a comment surely that accounts for something.  The guy that phoned me was an Ashley and didnt sound genuine, the jobs they put you forward for are fake and surely trading standards or some governing body should step in.  There are many of these organisations around full of false promises, these people calling you are commission based of course they want you to have interviews and traiing sessions, its how they make money.  In my opinion stay well clear!!!
