Just got a call from them

The caller said that their call list is filtered through the Telephone Preference Service, but it obviously didn't catch mine.

After reading everyones comments ~ these people rang me again and when I answered there was actually someone on the other end.  I told them I didn't want a will, if I did I would get one and if they rang again they would be the ones needing a will!!  Hopefully they won't call again

This number has phoned three times today - have not answered it on any occasion

Was called so far three times from these peoples, but thankfully after checking on this site I know not to answer - the thing is I actually work in a Marketing department and go to great lengths to ensure if we do contact people it's relevant and unobtrusive and most definitely do not cold call, people like this remove all the (what little there is) credibility to marketing.  Pathetic that any company stoops this low!

I'm glad I found this site - this number has been calling me for weeks now and it's really p#@sing me off.
I've sent a text to 01934 836160, telling them to stop calling my number, sent them an email - info@trustinheritance.com - asking how they got my number and telling them to remove it and swtop calling. Still awaiting a response on that one.
Now, just because I'm at a bit of a loose end right now, I'm going to call them several times and hang up when they answer.

Just got an email response from Trust Inheritance:

"Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you and can assure you that your record has been removed from our database.
Your telephone number was obtained from a company called Clash Insurance Quotes and Renewals.

I do understand how infuriating it could be when there is no one at the end of the line and as a company we make every effort for this not to happen.

So I guess its worth sending them a very blunt email! Their email address again is:

This no. has called several times. This time I answered and the caller said he was from Trust Inheritance and wanted to aske me some questions. When I asked where he got my name and no. from, he asked if I had bought anything off the internet lately. I asked him to remove my name and no. from his list and hung up.

what a pain even keeps ring after i have said i am not interested

I have been getting these calls  on my mobile number for over two weeks now.
i have never answered a call, but did text it asking for them to stop calling.
This has not worked.
i have even had a call at 9pm
I have not been in hospital, however i have worked at one for 12 years now!
makes you wonder if the NHS data base is behind this

Chap wanted to know if I had updated my will recently. When I said no he wanted to know if I even had a Will. Told him it was no business of his and my number was with TPS and he was breaking the law by calling it. He said he wasn't.

5 calls from this number over the last few days despite being ex directory and registered with TPS. Have emailed to ask where they got the number from and asking them to remove us from their call list.

they called me from the past two week, then yesterday I answered, they hang up! and today decide to look at the number, and found, and they are a company bothering people. at least I know I will not answer it!

keep getting calls from them,anyone know how to block or make them pay for my wasted time.

get like 5 calls a day same thing, 1 in 5 actually speak, doing my nut in. i'm tempted to agree to them sending a sales person round so i can tie him up and question him! stop gettin me out of Fu@@ing bed!

I agree with alan. I too received the call from this number 5 times in a day. they are getting our numbers from NHS. as it is stated in NHS that we will use your details for marketing purposes. i hope someone has to do something. its a call centre somewhere in asia as it dials all the numbers loaded in the system. so it tries many times.

.. a degree of pleasure can be got by simply bunging up their enquiry/ lead process by sending plausible but entirely spurious enquiries about estate planning, inheritance tax and funeral expenses. If everyone on here does that it will make their job very difficult to identify genuine grieving relatives and fools who don't have a decent lawyer with will making facilities. I work in Sales and marketing and the way to hit these idiots with unethical telesales methods is to screw their sales lead generation process. It's fun, free and doesn't take long...but do make them look genuine,get creative!Give the phone number of someone else you don't like - your local tax office, a builder who has let you down or your MP's surgery office, your bank, etc. This is entirely unethical but I live on the phone and am angry that so many people (especially the housebound, vulnerable or sick) have been troubled by these people. Enjoy!

YET ANOTHER NUMBER I DON'T RECOGNISE, SO JUST DO NOT ANSWER.  I AM VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT WHO I GIVE MY NUMBER TOO, SO HOW DO THEY GET HOLD OF IT?  AM THINKING MAYBE MAKE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT TO ORANGE!  IN THE MEANTIME THESE COMPANIES SHOULD BE AWARE THAT WHEN THINKING STRAIGHT, VERY FEW PEOPLE ANSWER AN UNKNOWN NUMBER, EVEN LESS LIKELY TO ANSWER AN ANONYMOUS ONE.  ALSO FOR THEIR RECORD, NOT THAT THEY'D KNOW ME FROM THIS, BUT I HAVE NOTHING TO "WILL" ANYONE, NOR IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO MAY HAVE "WILLED" ME!!!!
