I have received two calls from this number. One at 10.30 this morning and one a few weeks ago.

The caller always seems to know who there asking for, and in quite a posh accent, this disturbs me since I have a private number and I'm registered with the TPS.

I wish they would bugger off, they have also been ringing my elderly mother asking about Inheritance which caused her quite a lot of distress, she is also on a private number (Which she does not give out too anyone) and is registered with the TPS also.

    Have these people no shame.

I have a call blocking device that cuts this company off as soon as the damn computer rings my number. They are a flipping nuisance and I agree with all thye comments on here. Unsolicited telphone sales are bane of the telecommunications age.

I run a business and so have to answer the phone, they keep phoning asking for a certain person and we have told them time, and time again that that person dosn't work for us, and that we are a business.  We have asked that our number be delete from their system and have been told 4 times that it will be, but still to no avail.  They just keep on ringing.

Had a few of these calls over the past couple of weeks. Did ringback and got a voice message with another number on 01934 836160. Spoke to a lady who took my number and advised they would remove it from their system. Hopefully sorted.

I had a call from this number a few minutes ago.  I specifically asked where they got my details from.  I was told that they got them from a call data centre and that the numbers and details were farmed as follows.  You fill in an order form online.  You don't tick the privacy box that is at the bottom of the page.  The details were gathered from an order my wife placed.  She (the caller from trust inheritence) was no more specific than that.  It amazes me that we have to opt in to privacy as opposed to opting out.  In other word the box should read tick here to receive sales calls or to have your details passed on.  Not tick here to opt out of receiving calls and having your details passed on.

I don't have a problem with people that call to invite me to use their services or products.  What does piss me of is the underhand way they dupe you into allowing them to call you.  It's as if you actually gave your consent by not ticking the obscure box at the bottom of the page.

So it may well be that your telephone provider passed on your details if you ordered online and didn't tick the box but it's most unlikley that BT sell lists to anyone as a blanket rule and they certainly would need permission (from you by means clandestine or otherwise) before releasing "X" directory numbers.  Obviously anyone can go throught the phone book and make calls but as soon as you say you don't want to receive calls or that you are on the TPS list then they should, by law, not call you again.  However, enforcing this law may require a great deal of collecting information and proof over a prolonged period of time.

I call customers to offer my products and services to them.  The difference being that I only call customers that have used me in the past.  If they are not interested in my offer or deal then I thank them very much and wish them all the best and tell them I'll await their next call to me for IT help or utility information.  On occasions I might ask if it's ok to call them again in six weeks.  This way I avoid pissing my customers off as this is the last thing I want.  They already buy from me and I want them to choose me in the future.  However, for companies like Inheritence trust or Trust Inheritence or whatever they call themselves these days, we are only a one hit wonder.  I can imagine there would be an ongoing mutually beneficial customer or client relationship with such a comapany.  I could b wrong of course.  I was once.

They rang today but didn't leave a message. Only two days ago I had another call from the Claims Advisory centre. These nuisance calls all seem to be linked somehow.

had this number call me today found this on google and followed this: I called their 01934 836160 number and spoke to a very polite man who asked to confirm the number that they had been dialling and said that he would remove it, and apologised for the inconvenience.  I was quite impressed that they didn't attempt to try to sell their services to me anyway while I was on the phone.  I would urge anybody else getting calls from the 01934 423090 number to do the same.  Time will tell whether or not I continue to receive calls from them in the near future but if I do I will post back on here.they said they would remove my number from there calling list

Just got called by them on my mobile (looked it up here and ignored it, cheers) so I'm pretty sure they didn't get my number from BT, or from Virgin who supply my landline. Haven't had any hospital dealings lately either. I do enter magazine competitions, which I'm guessing is where they got it from - I always try to tick the privacy box but one must have slipped through the net.
