its winchester hospital.ive just rung them

this number called on my land line then my mobile.I tried phoning back but it would not accept my call.As i am waiting for a call from Winchester hospital this was somewhat annoying

It's an outgoing number from the hospital phone the main switch board and they will put you through

So your admitting your a scammer who stole wages from the NHS?

I received emergency calls from this number when My Sister was hospitalised  there. I think it is an outgoing call number for hospital communications ...as when You redial it is blocked...Just phone the RHCH (Winchester Hospital) switchboard & get details.

This is the maternity ward at Winchester hospital.

I just had the same thing. It rang me i missed it by 2 mins, called back & the call ends.

Its Winchester Hospital, I have had a call too just now, tried calling it back & it doesn't accept calls. I read further down & saw its a legit number so I called the main hospital who confirmed its an outgoing line for them only, Not sure why they'd call me though. I live not far away from them but my Hospital is QA Portsmouth :)

not a scam but awful system. I phoned the hospital but could not tell them who phoned! useless!

This is an outbound only number which attempts to connect with you to remind you of an appointment.  It wont leave a message (in case someone listens to your messages) and it wont allow you to call back, as its an automated calling number.  Nothing to worry about.

Hospital number, unable to take incoming calls if you return the call ... not a scam !!!

Exactly the same as Alister below today at 0900. Rang- went dead- unable to call it back just getting an engaged tone. Rang BT and informed them

It's the gynecology department at Winchester Hospital

2 calls today from this number (2 last month), answered today, lady asked to speak to my 12 year old son!!! Asked her why and the call ended??! Totally bizarre, reported.

01962825999 phoned but I dont answer unknown numbers. I looked on here and suggests it is Winchester hospital and quite a few different departments. But as I have never had any contact with them I shall  not phone back.
