Just had a call from 02003330367 saying they are from HM customs and excise saying they have been trying to contact me as they are taking a law suit out against me. !!!!  I just hung up thankfully.

I got call from 0200331367 purporting to be from HMRC who were about to take me to court - this could be very scary for some people.  They suggested I press 1 to talk to my case officer.

A recorded message said that HMRC had not been able to get hold of me and consequently were about to start court proceedings against me.  I had to press 1 to speak to my case worker.  There were no other options apart from that. I put the phone down.   Number 0200 3331 367 was the no when I called 1471 to check who had phoned.

Several calls, the caller hanging up each time I answer

I too had a call from 02003331532 this morning telling me they were filing a law suit against me and to press 1 to speak to my case advisor. It was on my answer phone. Its disgraceful and although I'm not elderly, elderly people would worry.

Stopped getting as many calls once I blew a shrieking whistle at a level of 125 decibels into receiver. Try it.

About 3 calls a day Just rung now at 8 amDont answer just get dialling tone

In the UK, 020 is the area code for London, so in the UK if a number is preceded by 0200 and made up of a further 6 or 7 digits, it's a London number.

Just had a call.Asian I think as just googled the 0200 number. Background noise and annoying at.10pm.

Today I found the same message- HMRC ? "Press 1 immediately to talk with your case officer!"
Initially I was worried, but I remembered to "Take 5"  so I took those few minutes to check with you and found others have received this same message...when will these people stop and do something usful in the world, totally fed up!
