Re an update on my previous message above...HMIC scam
If you go to the "Real HMIC page" they would like you to report this type of "Phishing to them...so if you have also been bothered/worried by these calls please take a few minutes and let them know.

keep receiving call about same time each day, last one said they had been trying to contact me(my no. is unlisted) saying they were from customs and excise and to push  a key no., I put phone down

Had a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming to be from HMRC.  He knew my name and address and wanted me to give him my NI number??  I was vary suspicious asked for his name :- 'Michael Jones' said his ID number was :- HM79053.  I put the phone down and said I would check myself with HMRC.  I realised it must be a scam because I am sure HMRC wouldn't contact anyone like this.  I was worried for awhile.  What can they use from NI number information?

02002980822 called asking about a car accident that wasn't my fault and the insurance company dealing with it had been taken over so they were dealing with the claim towards damage done to my vehicle. First guy was unable to answer any of my questions then passed me onto another guy who said it was for my injury claim. No such claim exists

02008381386 just called {7PM} call taken by answering machine but caller asked for me by name and said "hello" saeveral times before ringing off. Slight Asian accent......I monitor All calls by my answering machine now. My friends leave a message!

Asked to speak to my mother when said she'd passed he wouldn't take no for answer and started asking me questions when I asked why he went quiet but was still on the other end, so I Said don't be rude and ignore me and of he continues to ignore me to never call my number again, he showed no respect at all.

02001771881. Very noisy line and obviously took half a second to connect me to someone when I picked up. They TOLD me I've been in a car accident, although I have never owned a car and this is untrue. Ended the call.

A Chinese man called asking for money

0200 8039 0972 was the number that phoned me, claimed to be DWP, saying I was under surveylance, and to phone them back

I have blocked the number and wont be phoning it back

Me too every day pain in the backside

It happens to my  phone too

If you type in the code they give you it gives them a way in to plant a virus to access your data - never do it!

i've a missed call from 0200 , and i scared if they are scammer !!!

Unknown caller phone detected it’s from London b cause of 020 dial code but subsequent 0 afterwards, google suggests is from Asia? I didn’t answer due to the strange area code

Got a call from 02004335337 it only rang for a few seconds didn't get the time to answer.

Someone called me from this number ‭0200 4708159‬ no idea who it is, when I answered there was a long pause and then she started asking who I was so I hung up and didn’t bother listening to the rest but it’s clearly dodgy and not a normal uk number

0200 241 0589 - When you call and your number isn't listed in my phone book, I won't answer your call.
