They rang me saying they had £4850 in the form of a cheque for me. Gave me the cheque number, money access code and a security id number. Want me to tell them when I will be home so an officer can issue me the cheque. Said they were contacting me because of a loan application I had made. But didn't give any interest rates or monthly payment details. Didn't ask for bank details.
She spoke very fast, with a foreign accent in broken english.

Had the same phone call saying they had the same amount for me (£4850) My call was to do with a claim I made against the bank for PPI, asked me to get a Ukash voucher for £250 and then they would release the money. The woman also so spoke with a foriegn accent and broken english saying that she was from Central County Court London.

i also had a call but they are calling from central county court of london (reclaim dept.) & i have verify it & that was correct...& even i have received a reclaim of £5021 in my bank a/c....
so according to me it is genuine ......

its not true i have received my reclaim money of £7580 as they call and dint take any confidential details from me so from my end its genuine

i did receive a call from that number & they told i m entitled to get bank reclaim with barclays bank of £4250 which i did receive with all legal papers ......
& office is at park crescent , london

i received an call from Cristy Williams she said she is calling from county court of London asked me to purchase some voucher for £ 250 as fee for my reclaim money and i received the reclaim money of £ 4580 its not scamp its good that they are helping people in providing there money

This is a scam they called me sayin they had a cheque for £4250 then asked me pay them £250 ukash voucher when i told them the fake number id made i heard someone in the backround sayin hes lying they also said they had an officer at my bank waiting to activate my cheque. to which i phoned my bank and this was also a lie do not fall for this these people are con artists and criminals.

i also got a call also from john and saying i had reclaim with my bank of £4250 & asked to pay £250 with Ukash Voucher so i paid & today i got cheque also & i have en-cashed as well. & i am very happy now.

This is a SCAM. NEVER pay a "fee" to India to get a "Refund"! CRIMINALS LIE to steal money!
Do NOT believe them, they will bogusly pretend to be any organisation and give whatever address to sound convincing. If anyone says they got a refund, they are part of the scam.

I got a call from Central County Court London I spoke with a Mr Sinclaire Thornton on telephone number 02030266296 he told me I had money due to me reclaimed from over bank charges and that an agent was calling at my house with a check when the agent did not come I called them only to be passed to a Mrs Cristy Williams on telephone number 02030266316 and was told by her to purchess two U-cash vouchers to the sum of £250 which I did and called then and gave them the voucher numbers when the money did not arrive in my account like she told me it would I called back and she told me they was a technical hitch and I would need to get another two u-cash vouchers and that all the money including the u-cash voucher money that I had send
I did as they asked and again nothing arrived in my account I called back only to be passed back to the central county court and Mr Sinclaire Thornton again he told me that all the tranferes were cancelled and the reason was that my bank would not accept the money I went and seen my bank who told me there had been no transaction of any kind to my bank so I called back Mr Sinclaire Thornton who told me the money would be wired to me by money gram to the post office and I needed another u-cash voucher to the sum of £250
Once again I got the voucher gave him the number then I was told I needed to pay £400 transfer fee to the post office by this time I had no money left and ran up a £1250 overdraft so I called back to Mr Sinclaire Thronton and he was moved to another department so I was now dealing with a Mr John Williams once again I was promised that the money would be in my account the next day but it never arrived again I call back and this time Mr Williams was in a meeting and the case had been passed to another man by the name of Rodger he would not give me his sir name he gave me his word that the money would be in my account by the end of the day and once again nothing happened I called back and this time it was the transfer manager who gave me his word that the money would be in my account today Monday the 11th of July and again it is not there I tried to call both the phone numbers I have been contacting them on and when I dial the numbers the operator is saying these numbers are not in service
If anyone could help me I would be eternally grateful as I am in £1250 to my bank with overdrafts getting the u-cash vouchers I am unemployed through medical reasons and have no income or any way of paying my overdraft

Thank you I have reported it to the link you sent me all this has left me broke and in debt that I can't repay I hope and pray that these people are caught and an end is put to their scam this all started in January 2011 when I got the call and they sent me a claims form they could tell me my bank account number and that I had a load from my bank how can these people find out stuff like that about your transaction with your bank
Everyone that I spoke to when they were passing me about was Indian hard to understand and when you ask them to speak slower because you can not understand their accent they do not take it well even if you are polite and say "sorry I am finding it hard to understand your accent could you speak a little slower"
It is terrible that here in the UK these people have jobs dealing with the public and they cannot speak proper English I am Scottish and I know that when I speak to someone even if they are from England that I have to speak slower than normal and be aware to use proper English when I am talking
Thank you again for the link I guess this is an expensive lesson that I have no way of telling how long it will be before I can clear the debt I have incurred with my bank through all this as I am unemployed through health reasons and cannot work I hope these people are caught and deported from the UK
And they wonder why there is racial hatred in the UK it is all these foreigners that are running these scams I am not a racist as I have Asian and Indian friends but slowly and surely I have come to not trust any Indian
They are so good and convincing and send all the documents that look real with stamps and logo's and even seal stamps the names and contact numbers I have is first Mr Sinclaire Thronton Central County Court London 02030266296 an Indian and Mrs Cristy Williams 02030266316 Bank Of London another Indian and the County Court again a Mr John Williams Indian again and one other man who would not give his sir name Roger he was the last person I spoke to and his word was given that it would be in my account by today Monday the 11th of July but it never happened and now the numbers I was contacting them on are not in service
THERE ARE POSTS ON HERE SAYING THAT THEY GOT THE MONEY AND ALL ARE AROUND THE SAME AMOUNT I CAN ONLY THINK THAT THE PEOPLE THAT POSTED THEM MUST BE INVOLVED

hi my mother had same call today saying that they have 4850 for her this is the number 02034555423...this has caused so much stress for my mother who is elderly and disabled...with her son my brother in stoke manderville...hope sinclair thornton or who ever his name is has his cumupence..pure evil...sorry to those who have been cheated...

have you noticed all the names of people saying how good they are are real old fastioned english names..and how they write there text...anyone saying they are good and helping you are fake...........evil ...........scam should be there name.............hope you rot in hell.........

when you phone the number it rings for a while and the call is transfered abroad..im contacting fraud office tomorrow am.........
