An asian sounding man calling himself Steve rang 12th June approx 15.00 !!  Said he was from a Co. called 'Protect yr PC'.  Wanted me to log on to my PC and asked questions re. PC's security.  Didn't go that far.    He was very persistent.

i was also conned just yesterday i applied for a loan and they called me said they were from loan direct or something like that said i had qulified for £1000 i thought ok...............they said i needed to pay the first month upfront which was £55 so i got a u cash voucher rang them back and they took the number and said someone would call me back within the next 10 minutes .............30 minutes later no one had called back so i rang the number they called me from and when they awnsered they didt state a company name or nuffin which i thought was odd...any way they paased me on to the transaction depp and the guy told me he was avin probs preccesing the claim and would call me back to my supprise he did call me back and explained that they could not release the funds as i had to pay £110 tax or something .....i asked them to call me back TODAY as i didnt have the money until today ..all night it was rackng my brain that when i called back they didnt have a person who knew the company name ...ODD.......then i decided to look on google and here  i am ..........THE GUY DID RING ME BACK and 10am like he said literally on the dot.......he explained again that i needed to pay the tax balance ... i laughed and he asked me wot i was larfing at i explained he had already conned me out of £55 and there was no way i was willing to pay another £110 he asked me why LOL LOL LOL i replied " ive been readin all about ur dodgy scams and the ammount of money u have took off of people ur lucky u only got wot u did from me u dodgy low life dirty scum bag "he went on to say " so would u like to go ahead with the loan i reply " [***] off and dont rng me again " its now 4pm and ive heard nuffink :):) i feel a bit let down i let myself get into that situation but i ave learned .... seems they arent giving up and not going to get caught anytime soon so BE CAREFULL AND DNT GET CAUGHT UP LIKE I DID!!!  [***] !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An Indian sounding man made out he was calling about my windows operating system. This must have been a scam as I have a Mac. He said there had been many complaints about my machine and gave me this number when I asked him for a contact no. I haven't called the number in case it's part of the scam and charges my phone £s. ...... sounded like a scam from the start, BEWARE!

i got scamed of the firm called easy cash loans they use a phone number 02032392987 they said they was based at london haymarket wot they to me on the 31/8/2012 is asked me for the first month payment down of £55 then they said i needed to pay £100 tax they told me it was going to be in my account in 20mins never got there so i phoned them back still nothing this went on till monday the 3/9/2012 with them puttin the phone down on me when i say my name or mention money to them on the 3/9/2012 as well they asked for a further £110 insurance they said on the 4/9/2012 i will have the money at my door i wont hold my breath

I applied for a loan just before the weekend, and then monday money recieved a call saying i had been approved a loan by a Loan company, who were not brokers but lenders, that i didnt need a guarantor or be credit checked the guy then asked to verify details including my account no and sort code which they would transfer my £8000 loan between 2-3 hours my monthly payment £150 for 60 months 12% apr. Hooked he dropped it i had to pay first monthly payment of £150 which would cover me to November, he said i had to go and purchase a card called SAFE PAY from my local shop and would have to give him a code to verify. i told him to call me back in a few hours which I used to research the company bt couldn't find the company bt found out about the UKASH scam. In between Mon & Tues I've had over 21 calls, from roughly same recurring nos 0161 408 4662, 0203 239 2617, 0161 408 0177, 0203 286 6921.
asking for same thing but different variations like different names but usually asking for a UKASH voucher, different amounts ranging £50 - £170  for ACTIVATION, MONTHLY PAYMENTS. when I suggested that they pay me the loan and take the instalment out from that they kept repeating the same gibberish about terms and conditions even though I didn't even get a contract apart from 1 company unsecuredloanforyou@gmail.com sent me an email. After reading a few comments on pages I told them I was not interested if it involved me making a payment upfront to receive the transfer, the guys would become agitated, raising their voice saying they've called me bk and they're trying to help me because my credit scores poor ( this being due to not have had any agreements before) no one else will, and they could offer the money to someone else. One guy demanded I think about it and he would call me following day, even though I told him several times I was no longer interested.
its good there's websites like this, It saved me losing well needed money that I didn't have, obviously If i had the money wouldn't require a loan. Its sad to think they target the ones in need to help themselves, and there's a lot of scams, not just these which leaves me Wary. Never hand over money without receiving the product or thoroughly doing research.

The caller from this number said that my computer was under threat from a virus which no anti-virus software would recognise. Yet another scam to hack into someone's PC!!!

020 8638 0894 remember this number ppl and don't Answer it' they call Themselves EASY LOANS well let me tell u it's was not one but easy 2 days I was on the phone to them I was offerd a loan of £3000 I did not want that much so I asked for £1500 no problem sir was his reply I'm pleased to tell u you have Qualified for a loan 1500 over 4 years 51.00 a month (Great I thought Xmas coming up and all) so I had to pay first month up frount 51.00 ok I thought atleast not a payment dew now till after Xmas so u can't pay this 51.00 over the phone u need to call Western union who charge 6.90 to send the money to India at this point I was thinking this just don't seem wright but being Xmas I was Desperate for the loan so went ahead pay 51.00 brill sir your Payment was successful And friends will be in your account within 25 minutes to an hour so a day later NO FUNDS rang back oh sir Matthew as he Repeatedly called me y I don't know it's not my Surname but anyway I'm so sorry you have to pay 99.00 tax huh I thought and said no way I want to Cancel my loan app and get my 51.00 back ok sir Matthew there is a 69.00 Cancellation charge???? Well that's more than the 51.00 I paid so sorry sir but u need to pay this 99.00 tax and u will be paid 1500 in your account within an hour so I Reluctantly paid 99.00 witch I had to borrow of a family member and promised to pay then bk in an hour soon as my 1500 fee went inn my account so again rang weston union pay'd the 99.00 so called easy loan again right I've paid that so will u Transfer the loan now please ok well put u Through to our accounts department so they can Transfer the money getting exited thinking great I can get the kids this and that for Xmas so they said ok sir Matthew we ready to do Transfer now that'll be 149.00 please I nearly dropped the phone what do u mean I was promised no mor charged ect ect in the end I never pay'd the 149.00 as I did not trust I would even get my money then so I'm 148.00 out of pocked with no loan
