yes IMPACT debt collectors, god help u if you make a late payment. They use twelve different numbers to confuse you

Cycling numbers is arguably close to breaching the OFT/FSA rules. As are the withheld numbers they use! Always worth reminding them of that if nothing else it will change the balance of power!

They are so unproffesional!!

They are relentless, and also use 01980 numbers and 0800, they'll ring both mobiles and landlines even at 8.00 am weekends!!

this F......kin company wants to bloody well stop rining me. i have already told them repeatedly they have the wrong number AND for that matter the wrong address.

i post all the mail back to them for someone called Elaine.... who has never existed in my house for the last 7years at least. and they keep ringing my mobile .. thank god its not my landline. 8am-8pm.... i mean come on to fu.....  i work night shift and im being fu...n woken up by these guys who dont seem to understand " i am not this person you have the wrong number"

worst of all i have NEVER been connected to this shoddily ran company in my life. i dont have a credit card of any sort and i dont owe money to anyone.

They call me on loads of different numbers even though they know I,m on an IVA, I dont answer them now, the advisor I spoke too when I called them to tell them about the IVA was extremely rude,I tried to be polite but ended up telling him where he could shove his enquiry and have not answered any calls since. I has been a quite day today from them only received 4 calls on three different numbers on my mobile and 2 on landline

Yep Vanquis.

I have all these numbers as they use them stored in my mobile and on silent.

They are annoying and persistent. They use all different numbers to try and catch you out.

Yep... It's those Vanquis idiots again!

I get 10-15 calls from them every day, I just answer with a hello then hang up, so it's costing them over at least £1 a day for the pleasure to hear my voice!  These people are truely the real idiots of the banking world!

I just SCREAMED at these people as they completly blocked my phone! I couldn't cut them off!!! How did they do that?! I I yelled at them and told them I am reporting this to the Police.This is illegal to block a persons phone surely, has this happened to anyone else. When they told me that in order to remove the number they said I had to answer a series of questions I said I would not and to get off my phone line NOW!  the response "Good we will continue to call"...

Ok..I just phoned one of their random phone numbers and told them that this number had been reissued as a business number about a month ago and they are costing me business. I gave them a fictional post code and was told that they would be removing my number. I also told them that It was highly illegal to block phones and I am reporting them to trading standards. Dont know whether they believed me. They wanted to ask a series of questions but I said I do not give personal information over the phone.

Vanquis have plagued me for a year, despite my having a payment scheme in place.

They've been at me for two months non stop - I don't answer them - I was £30 short on a payment 2 months ago, but they texted me the day after the payment was due, and now my phone never stops ringing. It's really annoying.

This company are acting outside the law.  It is clear that they harrass people into giving them money which is owed to them.  Under the adminstration of Justice Act 1970 they are not allowed to do this or use 'IMPACT' to collect the debt.  The Act clearly states that it is a criminal offence to collect a civil debt by causing distress and public humiliation CALL THE POLICE!!!

Call the police!!!  See the Harrassment Law and also 'The adminstration of Justice Act 1970 then go to the police with all the phone calls, giving times and dates etc and how many times they call you.  If its more than six times then report.  Dont forget to include Impact as well as they are they debt collection side of Vanquis.  Sorry I cant help you further good luck.
