I have reported both Vanquis Bank and Impact to the police. The officer I spoke with told me that I was by no means to first person to have reported them and that they were aware of the company!

Very interesting and hopefully they will stop calling! I've had no dealing with them in years!

This company have no morals, sense of dignity or manners.....me and my wife had a card with them and then sent them back and wrote to the explaining we would only deal with things through white mail...still they call us both @ least 4 times a day on both mobiles and also the house phone..even after reporting them to all and sundry they still call.......SO FAR I HAVE BLOCKED THE LIST BELOW BUT STILL THEY COME UP WITH NEW NUMBERS!!!!!!

Its no big secret
like so many other people I got into debt
and am struggling to make payments to Vanquis
I am now being harrassed by Impact Collections which is part of Vanquis
I have made my position clear
I am now only working part time but have made a very reasonable payment offer
There is NOTHING more to discuss
They have NO more reason to call
However these [***] persist in calling up to 30 times per day
They call at least 10 times per day
They have phoned as early as 07:30 and as late as 21:45
They have even called on Sundays
I now have a list of 39 numbers they have used to harrass me (see below)
I am sure there are many more
There is no two ways about it this is harassment
and it Is illegal
.
The problem is
I spoke to the police but they said what Vanquis / Impact Collections are doing is unlawful
but said they can do nothing as it is a civil matter  and not a criminal matter and they referred me to OFCOM
OFCOM have informed me that Impact Collections are acting unlawfuly but are unable to get involved in individual cases
So I tried Trading Standards who confirmed that their course of action is unlawful but also said they are unable to get involved in individual cases
So these [***] just continue to harass people knowing they will get away with it
(so much for industry regulators regulating the industry)

they done a similer thing to me now i refuse payment altogether and told em to take me court but they wont i just let the answerphone take there calls then delete them. but they wont be getting another payment from me

if you tell them to remove your number from their record they have to do this and can not phone you again but contact you only through post.

This is Vanquis Bank debt collector team. Will ring continuously through out the day.

Vanquis !! .... I have a Stepchange debt plan and only owed them £90 .... They have constantly harassed me for payments by phone , text, email and post since the start !! I had a problem with my benefit payments a couple of months back so contacted Stepchange about new payment schedule they were fine told me to ring creditors as a courtesy which I did .... They were all fine except VANQUIS total [***] rude and patronising and kept demanding payment of the £40 I still owed  ?? Insisting l set up a payment plan with them said l had a plan with Stepchange so refused to cooperate !! They have ramped up the pressure now several phone calls a day , emails every day and at least two letters day for two weeks !! They've probably paid £40 in postage ?? Out of principle l won't pay off they can wait for Stepchange payment !!!!
