Get two calls from these daily, I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  Very annoying.  Typed the number into Google and it's from China.

Just called the number back. It was answered by a company offering to claim back any mis sold payment protection from loans ect.
Nothing to do with a Chinese courier service?

This number calls my mobile but leaves no message.

Got a miss call of this number, check it out (should have not to), is them bloody payment protection of loan claiming company!

The number does appear on some german and chinese websites, but if you are being phoned in the uk, an 11 digit number starting with 0203 is a London based number, heres your proof:-

The real location could be hidden of course. I just got a call from this crowd-its unlikely to be china calling from a callcentre at 2am! Unless they are 24 hour, lol. If its from abroad, india and africa are far more likely, especially if you are with the TALK TALK telephone company (although they usually call you from india or africa, hidden under a '016' number). Perhaps they now use german call centres, lol. I also owe a small amount of money to the bank, but Im not sure how likely a bank related solicitor owned (or not) call centre would sell your home number on to others. Theres always a chance.

If everyone above is with TalkTalk (or any phone company that likes to use foreign call centres) then youve just found the most likely reason for getting this call. Aside from your number possibly getting sold on, all these foreign call centres (even if they are all run by a single telephone comapany) are likely to NEVER keep one another up to date, or share information correctly, so probably wont delete your number from their system if youre supposed to be ex-directory. Even if they do-somewhere, someone has it :(

Theres always a chance that this number was a wrong number, but I have had Talk Talk phone calls at 3am before (likely india or africa trying to get me to do a survey or buy something)... LOL :)

Exactly. The caller was clearly British. I forgot to take down the name of the company.
My number is "protected" by TPS, so they shouldn't have called it. But what do they care ...

Just had a call from this number. The english girl said she was from Elsworth Associates but I didn't hang on the phone long enough to find out what she was trying to sell

didnt start getting these calls until i had left pipex/talktalk to go back to BT. I get calls from this number, unavailable and international a minimum of 5 times a day if i dont answer, and 2 times if i do despite being on the TPS register. All of them trying to get me to claim for PPIs ive had
