An investment firm, Global something I think, rang about 12 times in the past week yet have still not managed to email me a simple prospectus. When I pointed this out on the last call and told them I wouldn't put my money with someone who can't even take notes properly, the chap got very shirty and was quite rude...

Definitely not a professional outfit...

Bunch of amateurs.  Rude, aggressive and definitely not a firm you want to invest with.
I had them send me out a brochure via post.  The details are:

Rare earth metals and carbon credit trading are well known scams and recognised by the FSA as scams stay well away if you value you own wealth

definetly a scam and definetly an issue with them not being able to send out a prospectus.  the new one is digging for oil wells lol with a minmum investment of £6,000 for a share of a well!

Got a call from these guys despite being registered with the TPS. Would I be interested in buying shares in oil wells ?

The sad thing is, I bet there are people who are taken in by this crowd. If you get a call from this number, ignore it !!

They called me, they knew my name, we talked and left it that he would call me back. Meanwhile I researched them, GAI global alternative investment, and found out they're scammers. I told him I knew. He tried to persuade me of the opposite, when he couldn't he became rude and hung up.

Alli you've been had as they wanted £6000 from you but told me the minimum investment was £3750 for the old oil well investment  gimmick.I'm grateful to the powers that be that i was given enough upstairs to avoid these crooks unlike some people.These people have no morals or conscience whatsoever and will take you for every penny they can in the blink of an eyelid.They do get closed down but only after they have dissappeared with lots of money taken from the naive and gullible who fall victim to them.FCA /police are way too slow to investigate and react.

New horizon Energy is owned by Joseph Harrison and Mathew tresham.
Adam skeet was a broker working for them for years and was put on directorship of this company to hide Joseph's and Mathews past.

Jamie marchant, Jordan Ellis, aslan Kaplan and adam skeet all miss sold and lied to all clients. Junior brokers got 5% commission and senior got 10% commission.
I sure there is a rather healthy taking for the directors of the board too.

I left the company after two months and reported them to the fraud squad and the police, please do the same so they will be stopped.

Seems like a fairly transparent operation. If they were a scam then surely they wouldnt post their address online for everyone to see? Spoke to a bloke on the phone who was actually pretty calm. I am hoping to receive a brochure in the next few days.

Yep its notorious for rival companies to do this to try and get a small advantage over their competitiors...one of the most frustrating things about the internet is that it is used and abused by people doing this.
