Exactly same as you emma, said they had £2000 from a mis sold insuranse , politly told them to go away and delete my number . only to have them call again later. not so polite that time... i WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHO IS SELLING THEM OUR NUMBERS

offering £200 for misold insurance, phoned 3 times now. all cold calling. told them 3 times to remove my number with no luck

I cant think of how there got my number with my name as its a pre paid phone and not registered the only other place that i give the number with my name is the dole when i come out of work.

had call many times asking for mr granger when told them not mr granger asked my name did not tell then they told me to go to hell

I received a call from the above number, but when I tried to return the call phone dropped

Called several times.  Once very late at night!  I only answered once and set my answer machine to respond after 2 rings.  Since I answered, I have been called twice!

Answered a call from this number (after several missed calls from them) and after a delay a bloke came on the phone, sounded like from an Indian call centre(?) who said he was ringing from TalkTalk, who are my phone and broadband providers, saying they wanted to talk to me about some special offers. I was immediately suspicious as I have just signed a new contract with them only a week ago. He started to try and ask me security questions so I said I wanted some info from him first and asked him to confirm he was ringing from TalkTalk by telling me which plan I am on and how much I am paying per month. He said I was on a 'legacy plan' (I'm not, don't think there's any such thing??) and then changed the subject so I said I was not happy and that I was going to end the call now, which I did. I was polite but I won't be next time!!

just had a call from that number and they hung up after 3/6 seconds of my partner passing the telephone over to me

Hi. This number called me about half an hour ago.  They said they were talk talk but I think they are suspicious.  We do have a Talk talk account, but when the woman realised she wasn't going to sell me anything she put the phone down on me.  I am going to send an email to Talk Talk about it.  Hope this helps...

Very rude.   Had the phone put down on me when they realised I wasn't going to buy.  Tried to ring them to complain but the phone goes dead after a couple of rings.  I think it's a line that doesn't accept incomming calls.

Sick of receiving this spamming company call, refuse to answer it, no one there if you dial the number.

Received a call from this number today - apparently from Talktalk trying to introduce me to a new Mobile Service they are shortly to be introducing. I am a Talktalk customer and I thought the call was genuine. As soon as I said I wasn't interested they rang off.

Who are these people ? Does anyone know ?

one  call made out it was talk talk found out it was not do not want them to call anymore it was an asian voice another to beware and were did they get my name and phone number i am x directory.

Received a call from 02070985550 at 7.45 today tried to connect via 3 but got no answer.

same here, phone rang when answered no one would talk, when i rang back the phone was answered and put straight down without talking!

that actually made me snort out loud!! Great idea!!...:)
