Had two missed calls today from that number.

missed  call from this number, constantly busy when tried to ring.  I dont recognise it.  I will now stop having seen these posts.

Odd number keeps calling the office, it's a scam, if you answer it will charge you ! be aware.

I just got call from this number and when I tried to call back and it sounds as if the number was busy.

This is the UK presentation number for an outsourcing company called WNS. They perform work for many companies so could be anything from unsolicited calls to genuine calls from your bank.

Got a call from this number yesterday by an asian sounding person purporting to be from a hire care company that I had just rented from saying the payment had not gone through? After saying he would try again and failed he asked for another card which I gave him.
I've since contacted the car hire company and they said no such call was made. I then contacted my CC company and they were not interested, just said if something came up that I didn't purchase they would dispute it !!!!! Nice one TESCO.
There is a possibility this call came from Last minute.com as the car hire people are linked to them.
Very worrying.

Got a call from that number today, Asian Male voice saying they were from FedEx needed my card details again as transaction had not gone through. Was immediately suspicious as my last transaction with Fed Ex over a month ago - told him I would not give card over the phone as did not know who he was.
Then googled the number and my suspiction was correct seeing all other posts.

Got a call from an Indian guy saying he was calling doing a nationwide survey. For the UK, I asked? he said yes. Problem was I am in Ireland. I told him we had just suffered a bereavement so now was not a good time Plus we were ex-directory so how did he get the number? he explained the random digit process as others have mentioned. I told him to remove our number from his database.

I asked if GFNOP were ringing France, he said no. I asked about Germany, he said no. Just nationwide. I then told him that many people had died to free Ireland from Britain so why the f*ck was he calling me? Don't get me wrong, I love Britain, but Ireland is Ireland. 'Nationwide survey' my [***].

I got a call from this number today. I missed the call and they left a voice mail....very worrying said they were from last minute .com and if I still wanted to hold the room. They spoke of charging my card and I am very worried becuase I have Never used this service. I called lastminute.com and they did not have any record of this number in their departmental index nor do they have a record of the name the call handler was using.

The matter has to be followed up with my bank and the police.
