rang me three times this morning already, luckily we have an ans.machine so I am able to screen my calls.
According to its code it appears to be a London number whose provider is Virgin Media!

This number called me six times today. I got so ticked off as its not the first time they have done so. I rang back, not what I would usually do and asked who they were! They wouldn't answer said something about a competition I had entered, which obviously I could not remember? The woman on the other end kept asking if I wanted an iPhone. So I politely told her where to stick it and not to bother me by ringing my number again!!!l

Don't think it's gonna work .....no sooner had I written the last message, within 1 min they rang again!!!!

Just fell for it like an idiot only realised what I had done after I spoke to my girlfriend about it!!! Il be going down the bank tomorrow or Friday to cancel this direct debit!

They sounded genuined enough but were after my bank sort Corde and account number over the phone.  I refused and then hung up.  If they are genuine, they have no right trying to persuade people to divulge their bank details over an insecure communications network!

The "insecure communications network" is the least of your worries.  Giving bank details to a cold caller is like giving your wallet to a stranger in the street. It's not the network, it's the scammer on the other end of the 'phone you need to worry about!

I have been getting calls from this number, 5 yesterday and 3 today (by 10.45 am) As I had been working a very long shift I had, had my phone on silent, so I didn't know they had called until I checked my phone later. I decided to look online to see if it was a 'scam' number and my thoughts were confirmed after I read all these posts. Lo & behold, they called as I was reading these posts. My husband said, "Let me answer it". He did, but no one replied to his "Hello". I look forward to their next call as I will play them at their own game. I will give them 'fake' bank details, and if they say "These numbers don't work", I will say "Neither does your bulls**t, my dear!" OR, has anyone got a better line/s :)

I got a call today about 2 minutes ago. I answered and they hung up ... I've had a few missed calls from this number. Does anyone know what its actually about??

This is a scam company that play all the sounds and bells in the background. They state you have entered a competition to win an ipad.
I would not confirm my name or details in anyway shape or form.

Do not get caught out as once you give tyour details including bank details they take money from you each month until you cancel and then there are T&Cs in relation to cancellation

sick to death of this company. i answer they hang up, at least ten calls day and night. How can i stop them ?????????????

They just called me but i was out of the office, ... after reading through all these posts i cant wait for them to call me back, I will have a few choice words waiting for them .. and one will be OFF :)

They call me about 10 times a day!! but just found something useful. If you have an Iphone there is a free app you can download called 'truecaller' you enter any phone numbers that keep pestering you and it blocks those numbers!! It also alerts you of any scam numbers too when they call!!

Same as everyone else, I'll answer when they ring tomorrow and have some fun now I know it's a scam!

I answered last night and said "stop calling me" then hung up, haven't had another call so far. Trouble is, they may take money off you when you answer the call to them so check your phone bills!!

they keep calling me.  i havent answered but they never leave a voice mail so given what everyone else has said i reacon its a scam. ive had a number of calls in the past few days.

its a lottery con ignore those who say they got i phone etc and NEVER give your details

this number keeps ringing if you answer the phone they put it down if you ring them back its engaged
