3 calls today, Selling Euromillion syndicate tickets, saying their numbers have won every week.  Thats pretty good as I though the lottery was a game of chance.  Wanted my bank account details to set up direct debit.  Didnt and they became quite annoyed.

On the fifth call I decided to answer. Told the woman who spoke I had registered with Telephone Preference Service (which I had) and that by them calling was technically illegal. I said if they did not remove me from their database I would form a complaint through the TPS service who would take legal actions against them. The woman was rude and did not understand. Nor did she listen to what I was saying and even on several attempts tried to cut in to what I was saying. She then put me through to her 'manager' named Alex who said that he would remove us from the database but claimed I had been rude to her. Which I can assure was not the case. Had no further calls since so presume that I have had my details removed from their database. They definitely sounded foreign and part of a massive call centre due to the background noise. Whoever they are they have awful customer service.

Totally agree with the negative staff attitudes. At any mention of me wanting to have my details removed from their database they became very argumentative and almost aggressive. Especially the woman whom I spoke to first.

I just had a call from this number; sounded like a call centre. She told me I'd recently entered a competition on-line to win £1000 cash or a Mini Cooper (I may have done, I do occasionally enter competitions but only through legitimate websites, not through comp sites or via spam emails). Anyway, I told that unless she was telling me I'd actually won, I wasn't interested in anything she had to offer me. She tried to ask me whether I played the lottery; I asked her to clarify exactly why she was calling and she hung up. They then phoned me again 20 minutes later and I didn't answer. If they call again they're going to get the full force of my bad mood down the phone. Clearly scammers.

Keep getting calls from the above number.
I answered a call today, and when I told the person at the other end that I was not interested, before she continued for much longer. she said to me "You don't even know what I am going to say Girl" !!!
I told her I was still not interested and then hung up.
Next time they call, I will just scream down the phone until they hang up :)

Some douche called Deborah Lohman has clearly given these scum my number.

Obvious scam is obvious - even if they weren't asking for the wrong person!

Keeps calling no idea who it is. If I answer they will know it is a genuine number.

I have had hundreds of calls from this number which I have ignored.  If I don't recognise a number I always check on here first to see if anyone else has had calls from the same number and after reading remarks, I still will not answer it.

I am receiving harassment phone calls from this number, attempted to call the number and refused to tell me who they are!

had a call yesterday telling me i had been put into a draw to win ipad or iphone...then she started babbling about euro millions lottery , i told her i wasnt given her any bank details but she said i dont need your details...then she kept on and on and on so i hung up....scam written all over it!!....how is it that she was offering me 400 lines on the euro millions for 4pence a line when everyone else pays £2 a line????

I agree that 'John' and 'Rastaman' seem like plants to me - strange they put no other details about it all and won't reply to further questions!

its an absolute scam - no point in even entering the phone! Trying to get you to buy a share in lottery tickets. I am on the phone to them currently and she's been talking to me non-stop for about 3 minutes without pausing to ask me anything!

Received a call today just like you others. Apparently I have won either an iPad worth about £600, or £10000. Mmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn. Stick finger in ear and say red backwards. I can't decide what prize to choose. However, I can decide NOT to pass my bank details to these bandits. The young lady got quite annoyed when I explained that she could not convince me their "system" was totally secure because my job role is IT and communications security. Evidently she is moe knowledgeable than me in these matters.

These idiots called me on my NEW mobile phone
they Obviously know my number
but they also knew my name and full address details
the ONLY place they could of obtained ALL theses details is from Carphone Warehouse
who supplied the phone
or from O2 who the contract is with
NOBODY else has my NEW mobile number and certainly wouldn't have all the other details they have

I won a competition
They phoned me 4 times yesterday and twice today. I answered and they hung up after about 30 seconds each time. I could hear voices in the back ground. The 3rd time they phoned today, a foreign sounding woman spoke. She told me I had won a competition. I told her I was no longer interested, and she complained that I had entered therefore I would give her my details. I asked for her details, was told she was at Regent House, Oxford Street. I asked her for her personal address so I could annoy her, she would not give them but kept on saying that if I enter a competition, then I should give her my details. I eventually got somewhat rude, telling her what to do with it where the sun don't shine and hung up on her

Have had a bout 40+ calls from them.  Don't bother to answer because anyone that rings you that often in the course of a week and never leaves a message can only be trying to flog something or it's a scam.  However it is driving me insane having my phone ringing constantly Grrrrrr!

I've had loads of these calls now and keep ignoring them but when i'm feeling up to it i'm going to have their life, not sure if i should try heavy breathing, a foreign and confused accent or the dumb blonde act. Decisions decisions! Think I might try and break my 45 minute record of time wasting.

I don't think I can try the TPS as thats only for the home phone number but works a treat on telesales people that dare to call my home phone, it's been registered for years and still get the odd call.

I'm going to have to look into an app for blocking numbers until apple put it in the iphone settings.
