Started yesterday...8 times.Answered them each time and there's no one there...really annoying !!!

Just an update...I have reported them to OFCOM...everyone should do this !!

I got called today.  Contact your bank to cancel.  I got sucked in too but my alarm bells kept ringing...

can u stop there direct debit coming out off the bank, they rang me at th wrong time n i jus sed yes to everything like a fool i feel now

Contact your bank, tell them you have been scammed, and ask them to cancel the direct debit.  If you do internet banking you can do it yourself.

Keep getting unwanted calls from this shower.  Extremely annoying and I dont know how they even got my mobile number!!! Please can we get these scam STOPPED!!!
Didnt even catch the name of the company as the person sounded foreign.

02073451299 has called me about 4 times over 3 days and wont leave a message.  I dont answer when I dont know the caller.  Getting annoying now!

I've just read through these posts and i'm so glad i did, I wouldn't have given out my details anyway but at least now I have some witty comebacks for the next time they call. Also just registered with TPS, so thanks for the tips with that too. Only receiving 2 calls a day at the moment so i'm getting off lightly in comparison to some of you! Thanks for all the info and advice guys.

What scam artists they are..
Told me I'd enteread an online comp... a pop up comp in fact... I'd been shortlisted.

I told them to remove my details off their database and never call again. sick of getting calls of them too, never being there when I pick up

I have no idea who called they said my name and asked if it is me I didn't know who was calling so I said wrong number and hanged up. Please tell me who called me?

i love these scams they are awesome i play with them when they ring just ask them random questions do you like cheese works lots or claim to be a call centre aswell my best reply was nandos leeds would they like to place an order or not!!!

I put this num in black list.  a lady asked me for the bank details when i refused to give her. She handed over to some other gentle(con)man. he said dsnt matter if u gonna give me ur bank details. he said if he can do somethin then post man must be billionaire bcoz he delivers bank statements to the houses...

they tried ringing today claiming my mother had won an iphone in an online comp... cept my mom has never entered any such competition, they didnt like it when i called em liars and told em to perambulate away in a short sharp jerky manner lol

This number 020 7345 1299, called my mobile humber and I spoke to someone called Natasha.They say that I entered into a competition to win an Ipad or £10,000. The winner has already been notified by email> and all other participants who entered into this compettions are being contacted by phone so they can have further chances of other draws. Best thing to do is to get the name of the person who is speaking to you, ask for your number to be removed from their database. This number is a scam, and there is no proof of any winners. It might be worth getting them to stop all phone calls, remove you from the database and get them to send any information by email ONLY as you have things in writing, and always good to have a trail of communication rather than verbal only.

Overall, DO NOT give your bank account details out to anyone, nor confirm your identity, date of birth, or address details.

i just got off the phone with them. just play along for a bit and dont give any details. its fun to get them to try and convince you. she ended up hanging up on me. :) then i called back on a private number and gave them some [***] for being pikey [***].
