I got a telephone call from this number yesterday 02075800818 they saying i have won a beauty make over, i did not believe it she say i have enter a competition on facebook. I said no i have not enter an competitions anyway.

I ask her where they were based she said Oxford Circus in London, I said well you better pick someone else i am not interested and put the phone down.

I hate people like this they make me sick so it you get this number tell them to [***]!!!

I would like to know where they got my mobile number from?

Thjanks for reporting this..keep getting missed calls, I return the call and its constantly engaged. I researched the number and thank god I found this website. I wont be calling them again!

I had a friend who had photos taken here and let me tell you these people are scammers. They take nice looking photos of you in good looking environments that anyone with a decent camera can take, show you them and then ask for EXTORTIONATE PRICES for you to purchase them. If you do not make a decision on the spot, you lose your "discount" and the photos are deleted in a few days. Don't even bother to pick this number up.

I have recently started recieving calls from Studio London for the second time. To reassure you all though, this isn't a scam. Last year they called and the "friend" was actually a friend so I went for it.. I had to give them my bank details for a fairly large deposit because I was going on a Saturday. The day wasn't actually as enjoyable as they make it sound on the phone, our make up looked awful and there was a lot of sitting around but the pictures looked good. Anyway, we decided not to buy any photos as they were so expensive so I got the deposit completely refunded within a week. The way they get your number is people who know you writing down your name and number as for each 100 names and numbers they give, they recieve a percentage of discount. They are so annoying they ring you again and again and I will not be answering this time around!!!!

This number keeps calling me to, however, to your amazment its not a scam, my friend did agree, he went and all his pictures are plastered on facebook.

My argument is it is illgal for someone other than youself to 'sell' a company your personal number (they knew my name too!) so it can be used for marketing, surley this has to be stopped!!! as i have not gave them my permission to do this, they could also sell my details to other companies!

If someone knows what can be done then please post it and imsure we all will report it, everyone on this page who has been called means they have your number and know your name!!!

I have submitted complaint to tps (my number is registered as telephone preference therefore IT IS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO CALL IT).

Complaint submitted to ICO and TPS.

RECORD ALL CALLS FROM THEM, and submit transcript to your ICO complaint. ICO do take action. (eventually, but lots have to complain so do it!)

also glad now that i didn't answer them!!!

these people are pathetic, they call..say hello... then cut off. Pathetic job looks terrible on their CV. good luck in life wasters

Got a call from them yesterday, asking if I knew someone, that someone actually being my mate. After a few brief questions to them (who are you?, how did you get my number?) I hung up as I was busy and cba to talk to them.

Initial thought was it was one of those companies you can ring to prank your friends, and that the mate they asked about was listening in on it but just googled the number and this came up so good to know who they are.

p.s whilst typing this they actually just rang me again - annoying :/

It cold-called me when I was asleep. I was pretty confused and like "Wha?"

This number have called me saying that my friend Veronica had recommended me to have a free makeover. I don't know anyone of that name. However my flatmate signed up to this company called studio london, as they were handing out flyers on oxford street and trying to get women to sign up to this year long membership whereby they get a free makeover, photo shoot and 50% off all prices at this hair salon in covent garden. Anyway she went along and all was above board, she got a hair cut for £26, so not bad. But my flatmate recommended me to receive the same package. I haven't gone along for the same thing as too good to be true, right?? So I told them no thanks and too leave me alone but this number has called again today. Maybe the photography company are in partnership with studio london or something.

Just got a call from this number and like many of you they said they were calling from a company called Studio London and that I had won a competition (they could not tell me where I had supposedly entered this though!)

I got the full sales pitch about what a fabulous experience I had won for me and a friend, that I would get Champagne reception, make over, hair, photo's (none of which I would get free) bla bla blaaaaa!!!

Then he says all I need to do is give them a deposit to secure my place, with this I told him I was not interested (not that I was in the first place!!) As if I would pay for a prize I had apparently won...idiots!!

One big ploy to get you to buy their overpriced glorified holiday snaps...

Anyway he said he was suprised that I had said I was not interested, that no one, especially a female had ever turned it down....me thinks he was telling a few porkies.

I missed a call from this number today 15/04/10, so I looked up the telephone number here and low and behold these chumps have called me before - about 2 years ago, saying that I had won a competition and would I like a make-over! LOL, Of course alarm bells rang when they wanted money from me, what a joke. I said I wasn't interested. Tell them to get lost and don't give these chumps your money! I never answer the phone if I don't recognise the number anymore, but I wonder how they got mine? Sounds like reporting them is a good idea. I might just do it.

Received a call from this number, no one spoke to start just voices the other end. A male voice then shouted down the phone my 1st name and hung up. Most random.

A modelling agency ............. are they having a laugh they only go for slim and pretty girls!

Got a call from 02075800818, at 15:50pm 16th April, the girl mentioned my friend's name and surmane and telling that she has told about a referral from a SPA day treatment and straight way asking for my address, DOB as well as my card number to pay a deposit of £30. Of course I have not given it,

I just got a call from them...someone called Davina at Studio London...she knew my name but I told her she had the wrong number, as they once tried to call me before and I found this site...so I had prepped myself!

I wouldnt mind winning a genuine competition like they try and tell u that u have, but its obviously not! They must get out numbers off websites...probably all those comparison websites where we tell the world everything about ourselves.

This company has called me 5 times in 4 days and when i answer, they say nothing then put down the phone after waking my baby up at times. Today I'd had enough and called my telephone service provider to ban this nuisance caller, but they said that the only way I could do this is if I reported it to the police. Instead I rang the 0207 no. where they tried to sell me their studio services as experienced by a friend (who had given them my contact details). When I told them that I wasn't interested and to take me off their list, they said that they could do that and cut me off straight away. How blimming rude cheapskate sales ploy!!!!

Wow, I recieved a call from this number too, but it was wierd, all I heard was heavy breathing!! LOOLLLLL

I got a call from someone claiming they were calling from Studio London. They gave me all the information available on their website as 'verification', and said I had been referred by a friend for a free spa/photoshoot day. Now I'm all for it if it's free, but he then asked me for age verification to check I was over 18, and then said I would need to give bank details to pay a deposit to confirm my 'provisional booking' (don't think he knew what provisional meant as you don't pay for a booking unless you confirm it). That's when I politely refused and just outright said to the person 'I don't want the free day. Thank you.'. Don't fall for scams like these - they make it out to be something idyllic, then take your bank details and your money.
