Rude and pushy caller from number 020 8 294 7080

Re unsolicited call from phone number 0208 294 7080

I got a call yesterday evening at 7pm from this number. He asked to speak to the householder, when I asked who was calling  he stated it was to do with replacement windows. Unbelievable.  I objected strongly to being phoned whilst hanging up.

A tip from my old man. When receiving such unsolicited calls, don't hang up, but state to them you are getting the householder who is very elderly and infirm. Go back to the phone about half an hour later by which time it is likely that they have hung up on you ! They are a nuisance so why not be a nuisance to them... and have a laugh in the meantime!!!

Called at 18:58 on 20th Jan. I was at work, so the answer machine took it. Big surprise, there was no message left.

Had a call from a guy on 020 8294 7080 who said he was calling on behalf of  Weatherseal asking what windows, doors, fascia etc I would want if they gave me a hefty discount.  Said I didn't need anything but he was very pushy and insisted I give him an answer.  Just said anything to get rid of him.  He said thank you and said hopefully I wouldn't get any more calls.  (weird comment on reflection)  Got a call about 20 minutes later from a very rude guy. He said he was ringing about the windows I wanted and was going to give me a quote.  I said I was just about to go out and he asked what time I would be back.  I told him I would be in and out all day and he very rudely said 'you haven't answered my question'.  Again I told him I didn't know and he again rudely said I hadn't answered his question.  He then told me he would ring back about 5 pm.  I have had numerous calls from them which I haven't answered but they keep coming.
