I have had 4 calls from this number in the last few days. I answered it today to hear the ringing tone, as if I had phoned them.
I assume this is a machine randomly dialing numbers until someone answers.

Received a call from Scottish Equestrian on this number.

Finally got an answer to who was calling me. It was a pet insurance company. I think that this number is possibly a call centre that deals with lots of different products.

Have had loads of missed calls all week from this number but when called back, get a message saying our opening hours are 9am till 5pm over the christmas period. Yet we still seem to be getting calls 8pm onwards. A message has never been left !!!!

I took out pet plan insurance on 04/01/08 and for the last four days have received several calls from this number. I assume this is there automatic call centre from India.

Most annoying.

I called for a quote from Pet Plan a week ago, and am now too beign plagued with calls despite telling them at the beginning of my call to them that I didn't want to receive any marketing calls from them.

I also told them i wouldn't be interested in their insurance after the quote, vbut still they call...

I had this number just call me, like sum1 else said it rang as if i rang them when i answered!
I hung up, when i went to dial 1471, it was still connected for about 5mins! Just beware of this number.

Yes, it's pet plan. Do like me, call their 0845 number, don't select an option and you'll be connected to a UK operator. Play hell, give them your reference number if you have one and insist you're removed from their database. I'm now waiting to see if it works!

Like a few folk on here - I am really annoyed about getting called and hearing what sounds like a busy call centre.

Pet Plan can look elsewhere for their business as they will not get it from me after calling several times and nobody talks - just hangs up.

yes I checked each time and it is plan.

Despite speaking to deborah.sanders@allianz.co.uk on the phone yesterday and her promise to remove me that day - guess what - at 12:07 today i got another call from .... PET PLAN INSURANCE!!!

They just dont get it do they!

We've had loads of missed calls off this number as well as 02082317700 but we don't have any pets or ever enquired about pet insurance!

I have had a few calls from this number....i looked on the internet for a quote for pet insurance but i never asked to be phoned.
If i want the insurance i'll call them!

I have been bombarded with calls from this number for 2 days. I answered today and it was Pet Plan. I do need a policy for my pet so I listened to what he had to say. When I expressed a slight interest, he asked me for my bank card details so I told him straight that I was not prepared to give him my personal details over the phone. He then got defensive and said that he needed them to be able to send documentation to my home address!!!!
Steer well clear from these people!!!
