i just got a call from them too and i know that they are a scam but how did they know my bank account details? i thought that was personal info.

do not believe such sacmmers...it is their daily duty to cheat people.,just hang up the call.,

My wife received a call from 02 80035479 claiming they are from Reclaims department of Ministry of Finance of the Australian Federal Government. Wanted to confirm her date of birth before they can talk about her money she lost by overcharged in shopping. She wanted their number so that her husband can give them a call. They have insisted that she should give her the date of birth.. When I rang this number the male voice with an Indian accent wanted me to give the reference code. mentioned a just reference number and he said he will check and call my number. I asked that person how do you know my number/name the response was "Don't you know the Government got all my details" and disconnected the line
