prank calls me

ep, got the call today. Commonwealth bank subsidiary trying to sell accidental injury income insurance.

I have rcvd so many call from this number it isn't funny.  Over it!

I answered and then it went straight to call hold after I said hello. There was some pop rock music playing, which was quite nice.

But how annoying to get such calls! Good to know it's telemarketing. Won't answer next time.

Closed all my accounts with the CBA. A month later I get a call from this number on my mobile and home phone a few times a day. Didn't answer but found out it is GE money life insurance as I received mail from them a few days ago which has the 1300 305 515 number. Funny how same thing happened when I closed my accounts with the NAB three years ago. (which were abused). I remember back then it was an automated call that occasionally hung up when you answered. Seems that the banks forward your details to third party services once you leave them. Payback or sucking up?  Hmm

I've had two calls and won't answer!

did indeed just find out that i had that boxed ticked in my netbank,
fingers crossed they stop calling!

I got a call today from same people re:  Commonwealth Bank, under number 0280944412
you can list your mobile/home phone on the ACMA do not call register to hopefully stop the telemarketing calls.

Received a call today spoke to a person they say they work for AVON marketing and calling on behalf of the commonwealth bank.

Their number was : 02 8094 4201

Wanted personal details, but knew my name?

I can't tell if it is a scam or not but seems pretty dodgy.

I know what u mean. Share your frustration. Call just hangs up too and I can't even speak to a person to tell them to sto calling.  Glad this thread gives me a chance to vent!!!! :-/
