Same. I have about 5 calls per day from this number for the last 2 weeks. So annoying!

Been getting calls too, they did assure me that the list isn't coming from my ANZ account???
A tad concerned as I also pay for a Private number....
I spoke to a Mary-Ann in the Complaints department, who has advised me that it may take up to 30 days to completely remove me off the list, so we'll see.

got this prank today same as the rest no speech and bout 25secs b4 they hung up.  Funny i got a call about an hour b4 from telstra who"had found my number and network and could do me a great deal on the latest network"  and i am not even with them. Yay thanks for ringing us and hassling on private numbers.  how rude

Had a call from this number today... much the same as everyone else, 30 seconds of silence then someone came on the line claiming to be from ANZ/ING - after that my reception cut out so I didnt get to hear any more.. I have also had calls recently from "02 8223 7999" - I'm guessing my number has made it onto some kind of "call me with your spam" database ;)

ING - just call the number right back and follow the prompts. The option is there to leave a voice mail with your details to be removed from the dialing list.

Really really really crappy service from them to be spamming with no rep on the end of the line.

I got a few calls from this number. it was a man talking about life insurance and wanting me to leave feedback with him. the background noice sounded like he was in a cafe or mall or something. he had my address and asked me to confirm it and said that it was on behalf of my bank- anz. freaky that he had my address too.

Called me, no talking said hello twice then hung up. Called back, automated message about a life insurance claim, in which nothing of the sort was made...

The same has happened with me for the number 0282822800. I had never thought of calling the number back until I read the previous posts. When I did I got a answering service but it had prompts at the end. One of ther prompts was to opt off their contact list. So I have left my name and number, and a few unhappy words stating that I no longer want to be contacted or I will call the ombadsman to report them. Fingers crossed this works, as I have been recieving these call once a week to fortnight for possibly over a year now. I would like to point out that I am not a member of ING and never have been, but I am a customer of ANZ.

I received this call just now and ignored it to see if they would leave a message, but they didn't..sad!

It is Onepath (I discovered this by calling the number back).
I called Onepath and spoke directly to the complaints department. They got my details from ANZ. They offered to and did put me on their "do not call" list.
I also wrote a complaint to ANZ about them giving my details to Onepath and allowing this to happen.
This had better be the end of it.

Thought I was being prank called for the third time and instead of hanging up I stayed on the line.
A faint voice could be heard and I didn't catch his name. Referred to some mail which ANZ had sent me weeks ago and asked to confirm if my address was correct.
I told him I already have life insurance and that I'm not interested. He was a bit disappointed at the end of the phone call once I told him that.
If I knew of this on going saga I would have asked to be removed from their list. Might call ANZ and ask what they are doing with my private information.

Yes I just got a call from this number - he said he was calling from ANZ and wanted to verify my postal address. I said I would call back ANZ and reach him that way before I gave any information. He ended up getting really angry.

I called ANZ and they believe this to be a fraudulant caller.

I had the same call. I called ANZ and they said it was a fraudulent call and was not ANZ.

Sick of this number ringing!!! and then silent. won't be answering anymore. Does any one know how to make it stop?
