Received a call from this number at 8:37am this morning, it went to voicemail, but no details were left. The Operator thought he must have been speaking to me and not my voicemail.

Call Virgin Customer Service on the 1300 number, there are no details of that call being made this morning, and they can't explain it.

Had the same thing lately. Thought it must have been a wrong number, but after another missed call thought i'd look it up.. Now I know its Virgin I'll pick the next call up.. Their persistent, ill give them that, but annoying..

Just got a call from them and it was from virgin account management team, that guy just called and ask if i have any issue with my service :|

Well got a cal from 90281914 picked it up and spoke but no-one was there.
I am with Virgin like everyone else who has posted.

Got another call but didn't pick up but no voicemail was left.

I have had reminder messages before which have a recorded message like "your account is due"  I can only think it is something like that but maybe it's not working properly.

Got a call from this number at 8.02 the other morning, it rang out by the time I got to it. Thought it must have just been a wrong number but I just got it again now and answered but no one was there. I'm with virgin also, prepaid. Can't be too important if they can't talk when you answer.

Could be random calls to there database to see which numbers are active etc??

got a call from this number as well today!! i got one from a diffrent number but i looked up on the net, it's another virgin number!! am with them as well...i normally don't answer when it's not on my contacts but thank you...now i know it's the i don't need to worry!!

It's a genuine call apparently.

Virgin says:

The number belongs to our Pre-Paid Reload Team. Please be advised that this is a legit number.

took me 2 weeks to get that info from them

I confirm this to be Virgin Mobile.

they arent from a pre paid team im on a plan and they wont leave me alone!! funny thing is my partner has been getting calls off a number like this and its supposed too be optus and he is with vodafone hmm

Yes, I've had calls from both numbers since complaining via their website about mobile broadband internet with Virgin.  They even called my mother two days running, asking for my number! They rang both my landline & my mobile (both not with Virgin). The calls lasted for three days running.  I didn't answer any of them, as I want a reply in writing. I think there were two messages left, by a man with a foreign accent, speaking too fast, something about my Virgin service. Maybe Virgin gives complainers' details to a contractor to make any money they can out of them?

Caller wanted to know how come my wife was using one of my two numbers listed with Virgin ...both prepaid by me from online Virgin account..

When I called this number 0290281914, I got an automated voice telling me to call Virgin Sales Team. My thought is; get stuffed, I'm not doing a survey. That's why they called us most likely.

THis number just called my mobile. I went to reverse look up and they have no details on this number, so did a websearch this site came up.

Yep I too got a call late this afternoon. Didn't bother to reply.
Got straight on to this website and viola I found out.
I am with Virgin (prepaid).

Yep, it's Virgin.

Got a 2 year contract with them ending in 3 months and CANNOT WAIT TO SWITCH.  Nothing but issues start to finish.  Customer Service Staff not empowered to do ANYTHING.

Had a data issue with them I raised via net/email as nobody in customer service could help.

Just received a call from this number which diverted to my voicemail and a heavily accented voice said they got my email and will monitor the account, whatever that means.  STill didn't answer my question though.

Useless.

Just annoying rang 4 times . Didnt leave a message . I assume it's virgin as only family members have this number .
