If you've posted your CV on a jobs board such as Reed, Monster or CV Library then you'll be targeted by this direct marketing company and asked to attend a first round interview.  If working 7am-7pm Monday to Saturday with no basic salary, walking Queen Street all day harassing shoppers is your idea of a good job then call back - if not AVOID!  

I wish I'd done my research before going along to their ridiculous training day dressed up as a second round interview, where I spent literally the whole day in Starbucks answering useless questions whilst the "interviewer" dashed off every ten minutes to go harass some more shoppers to sign up for a makeover at some 'hair salon' situated in an office block.

I haven't had a call from these people but I was stupid enough to get sucked in by a sales rep in queens arcade, cardiff and was given a written receipt with this number on it and the name London Marketing Services.

They're now trading as Venus Marketing and advertising on all the major job websites. 0 basic pay, everything on commission. Beware if you're job seeking.

this number rang me twice last week saying they were venus marketing i,v had another call today from same number but they calling themselves something else JM... i cant remember the rest,told girl on phone she had rung last week using different name,but she reckons NO WAY dont sound right 2 me

Hey guys, I worked for one of these companies a while back for two weeks. There are 4 companies all in the same office, located on Sophia House, 28 Cathedral Road, Cardiff, CF11 9LJ.They are:
JTM Solutions owned by Matthew Goodchild
LMC marketing – Laura McCarter
Machina marketing- Rollo Snook
Venus Marketing- Victoria Nupen
These companies are all part of the larger marketing corporation, PerDM group. They employ you in a self-employed basis, working over 65 hours a week on a commission-based wage only, under the illusion that you can became manger in a year’s time. This is a disguise of why they are so aggressively recruiting many people. In actual fact, they hire as many people as possible to do sales for them; it is a numbers game to them. The chances of management happening are very small, 1 in 100! Even if you became manger, it is nothing like it is portrayed to you. You will not be watching the money roll in and putting your feet up. The manager I worked with lived with 6 of his employees and did not even own a car! hey guys, watch out because most of these companies are emailing people in other froums such as moneysavingexpert or complaints board to make them remove their posts. Check forums typing on google london marketing services scam, ea worldwide acquisitions scam, live marketing direct scam, carolina consulting scam etc.

The email they send says something like this:

I note with dismay the grossly libellous statements you have made about me on the ‘complaints board’ blog site.
The accusations you have made are serious allegations about my conduct and company.
I have already taken legal advice about these allegations and if you do not remove your post within the next seven days I will have no alternative but to instruct my solicitors to take legal action against you.

I sincerely hope we can resolve this matter without the need for legal action.

STAY AWAY, THEY CANNOT THREATEN PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY ARE TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT THESE COMPANIES

I worked with these people, its LMC Marketing, then after a month had a salary job offer so decided to leave. They refused to pay me my earnings, and I will never receive that money I worked hard to get for a month. They are dishonest people, and from the start they will lie to you and teach to how to lie yourself when you are knocking on doors. Everyone gets the job who applies, they just pretend that you've done well to get it........the reason they get away with it is because most people leave after the trial day therefore you never see them at the office. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Laura, the boss, is a manipulative greedy person who nobody should involve themselves with. Hope this is helpful

Hi to all....il start by saying that i myself was interviewed by a member of LMC Marketing  Laura Mcarter two weeks ago, in all honesty i walked away from there feeling my god i would love to be a part of that company sounds brilliant.  I was promised a phone call to let me know if i made it through to the the next phase and in came that phone call i was so pleased, come on guys who wouldnt be after being told that you could be running a branch within 18months a salary of £50,000-£80,000 A YEAR and hey guys lets not forget those bonuses and commision on top... Well the rest of the story goes like this!.... I didnt want to go in blind to the next phase so started to look in to there company and find out as much information as i possible could, boy oh boy i couldnt belive what kind of code of practice this company had been taking..How they operated throughout the uk and how unemployed people had been taken advantage of...So what ive decided to do is to arrange a demostration outside there office at 12.00hrs on the 24september to all who feel that LMC and there co-sister companys need to realize that people do matter and not just there profit..So guys all comments replys gratefully recieved..
