It didn't go. I work in Ivor House, and there was no kind of demonstration that took place outside it today. Kind of puts the realism of a lot of the above comments in question ;)

Not at all. Just because some people failed to organise a demonstration does not detract any validity from the thousands of negative comments that have been made about this company, on this site and many similar. PerDm are a disgrace. They take advantage of graduates and those who can't find work and exploit them. They suck them into their warped way of thinking, it is almost like a cult with the tactics they use. I'll admit, they got my hopes up and I was so eager to find work after graduating this year that I actually even went in for the first day, naively wanting to believe all these promises were true. It was only when I experienced 'atmosphere', read the contract thoroughly, actually saw what the job entailed when I was shouted at for not harrasing old people that I walked out. It felt great and Id only been there half a day. But I have to laugh at any idiot defending it because they will soon learn. Luckily I now have a real job, with real training, getting a real salary and Im building my way up a real career ladder. Dont give up hope people!

Had an interview with LMC marketing in cardiff last friday, first impressions werent great, as soon as I walked into "reception" I was greeted by some dippy tart called ali shove who's voice annoyed the crap out of me. This was the same ali who had replied to my application, and sent me a confirmation email under a different name (laura mccarter). As I sat down on the chairs, accompanied by the bellowing drum and bass from the radio, I noticed that some of the other applicant were dressed in tracksuits and trainers, indicating that perhaps everyone had been asked for an interview who had applied.

When it came to my interview i was greeted by a forty something year old woman who stunk of B.O and not to mention had a massive build of ear wax. She led me in to one of the adjoining rooms and proceeded to tell me about the business whilst I tried as hard as i could to get in any information about myself as she appeared uninterested in anything I had to say and didnt bother asking me questions. She didnt really describe what the job entailed, but she told me that i would effectively be on "a six month fast track to being a manager, with the responsiblity of 15 people". I thought that was great, as anyone would. She then said that she would ring me back between 5 and half 5 if i had got the position, and said the next stage would involve a day out with the team etc. to see how i fitted in.

The phonecall came around 5 pm to tell me the news in some X factor esque manner ("your through to the final 3!!!")

After reading these comments its clear my gut instincts and general common sense assumptions were correct. I will not be attending the interview tomorrow. Now clean your ears out you dirty fat mare.

applied for a job with lmc yesterday had an email today asking for me to ring to arrange an interview. it was ali shove. after reading the comments above and other research i have done ( thank god for the net lol ) i will not be waisting my time with this company.

tip of the day: always try to research a company before an interview it can save you a lot of hassle and wasted time.

is MSG Elite Marketing one of these companies? Mathew Goodchild is a managing director there. their number is 02921328227.

I worked with LMC for about a month sorry to say I was sucked into the whole thing! Should have listened to my misses who had told me it was all a con ur basically working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week and earning less than your spending instead of the fast track to managment iv ended up in six hundred pounds worth of debt! I totally agree with you all its a joke of a company that makes its money by destroying peoples lives! When I was there 5 or 6 people had left and we had atleast 3 observations(trainging)  a day just wish I had thought and done my research or just listen to me gal in the future :)

If such an illusion as you say, then no-one becomes a manager.

How is it possible then you allege that there was a company called Machina Marketing and a manager called Rollo Snook

I was a fundraiser, working mainly for the Red Cross and Action for Children. I'm proud of what I did to raise the standards within PerDM fundraising, attrition rates and quality sign-ups for desperate charities that save lives and save children from abuse.

I was an assistant manager sent to an office and was acting on orders. I then quit. Machina Marketing was not incorporated, nor was I a manager/owner as you allege.

I am now doing the same thing in-house with a former client, salaried.

There's freedom of speech, but not to libel and slander.

Ask yourself, you are the director of the Red Cross, would you employ people, rent offices, spend a lot of money to ensure quality, or spend a lot of money to save lives instead and let commission only organisations supply the vital volume of sign-ups needed every week to save the lives.

What would you do.

So calling me a scam is pretty criminal of you and I intend to pursue this.
