Just had a call and its THREE MOBILE

i got a call from them yesterday and they were telling me i should get a contract phone for £18 a month, unlimited texts 200 minutes and free internet and free new samsung mobile. this was  with the company "3". i agreed coz it sounded really good and i gave them my card and account details. was that stupid of me? is it a scam? im worried now coz still havent received this phone they were meant to be sending me.

been getting called up to 7 times a day by this number 02920822640 and its starting to get to me now anyone no how i can get them to stop

they just called me. wonder if these are the guys that bought the info from T Mobile?

Christine 13th of November - Yes it is always a silly thing to do. Never give your bank details over the telephone without sufficient evidence of who this company really is. If you really want the deal they are offering then ask them for the web site to obtain there main switchline telephone number so that you can properly identify if it is "3" who you are calling or if it is an agency working on behalf of "3".

I hope you have your phone and nothing bad happened! but for future reference when a deal sounds to good to be true.....you can finish it.

Scammers are always trying to rip off people and they love the way that these numbers make "sales" with no questions asked as they can imitate these companies to a certain degree and this is how people get robbed.

keep calling me

Called me today, answered it, told them had 12 months left on my contract and to remove my name and details from their database....feck off!

I had this number call me several times. Didnt answer but called back to see who it was - Three Mobile!!!

Juts tell them you dont want to speak to them and donot call me again. If they  do I will complain

I asked them to take me off their database.

If they keep calling you just say that if they don't stop they you will have their company prosecuted under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 should stop them

they just called me and sniggered down the fone. then hung up. what nobs

They have called me every day this we.  I've not answered.  I have a pay as you go phone and have done so for 5 years so no idea where they got my number from, any ideas?

They called me while I was driving. So I pulled up, and called them back. They said "We just called to ask if you are on a pay as you go plan.". My reply? "[***] Off". And I ended the call. What a waste of time!

what a bunch of bum holes they are, i agreee you can tell them about the protection from harassment law, but it will proberly get you know where very fast.
these companys do not do laws other than break them. besides you would most proberly have to pay legal costs if you did take them to court, or very least a solicitors letter and they not cheep.plus you will have to pay the court fee(county court about 90pound)if you went legal, time and money,, can you afford it??but if you win "IF" you could then sue for compensation, should be all done and cleared up in ohhh about 2 years.

but my advise is to be different, be inventive, and make it fun for you and a [***] for them when they call you,
my fav is starting the conversation with them then about a minute into the conversation saying look theres a butterfly and then put the phone down and leave them on the line, come bak 10 mins later and see if they still there, they'll proberly hang up and put a note on the screen next to your name and number with the words COMPLETE NUTTER :)they will know when phoning you will just be a waste of there time and energy, plus they pay the phone bill too

Last time had this sort of call told them they had wrong number and they stopped calling. Up until then I was getting calls about ten times a day, just had one from this number today, hope its not the start of more bombarding me with calls

they just rang me O_O so i typed the number into google ad got this site. Oh god i hope they fdont ring everyday

I have just called this number back after having a missed call from them. It is 3 (the mobile company) they wanted me to change to their contract. I have said that I do not want a new contract with them and am happy with my current contract with Orange. Tne guy updated the system so hopefully I won't get anymore calls.
