foolishly rang this number after missing a call. Fortunately when I phoned back and was getting nothing but sorry we are busy please hold etc mesage, I smelled a rat and hung up after only 20 seconds or so. This really is an intrusion on privacy and OFCOM should be doing some thing about it! OFCOM seems to be extremely ineffectual! Why do they exist and how much do they cost the taxpayers?!

Had the most bolshy sales person from 3 mobile, i could have swung for him! couldnt quite get into his head that on principle i did not want to know what he was offering me because it was a cold call.  Asked to speak to his manager who clearly was from the same mould!!!!

This number 02920 822 640 called me and when I answered it hung up!

I thought this type of call was outlawed (silent calls!!!)

I seem to get a call from this number every day. I wasn't answering because i didn't recognise the number. But when i typed the number into google i noticed that lots of people are complaining about it (So i'm now DEFINATELY not going to answer)

I think we should try to answer to them if you have 5 minutes spare to 'discuss the options'.
Go through it all with them, and right at the end say "oh, i did upgrade last week. Will that affect me?"
Or "on 2nd thoughts i would rather go into town and look at the phone myself"

Just tell them that you have a Pay monthly contract and your phone is going for renewal in 12mnths

Had a missed call at 12.25pm, most strange as my phone was right next to me on my desk, it did not ring so how did i miss that?

they rung me at work and they rung back when i finished work they are sales driven sales people managed to save me  a 5 er amonth on my phone so il let you know if its any good

This number has been ringing all week - I have a string of "missed call" messages on a mobile that's never left swtiched on as it's only kept in the car for emergencies. I've tried ringing them today, and get a recorded message giving opening hours and the only means of contact as an email address: sales@veraco.mobi. No way of leaving them a voice message.

So, I looked up the owner of the domain name and here are his details from the WhoIs database:

I was receieving missed calls from this number every morning at the same time for over a week.  I eventually called the number back and requested that my number be removed from their list.  Twice, I was promised that I would no longer receive calls - but they kept calling.

After reading this thread I discovered the calls were form a telemarketing company called "Veraco".

I eventually sent multiple messages using their "contact us" page on their website:

I sent the same message asking for my number to removed from their list about 25 times in the space of 5 minutes,

They seemed to get the message and have stopped calling.

im getting them too,dont get mad,get even! somone get me their address and ill go up there and shut them down.
