- ferol can smell scamJust received call from this number, not clear what was her name, but did mention about Bonuslink and AIA insurance package, RM51.84 (wtf must have 84 cent??), but only covered for accident and disable blablablaa... just mention if warded got RM300 (who cares if just for accident, nobody want to be in that position, is not win win situation to grab this package) that is the time I smell (Its SCAM Faker),
I did ask HER, not cover for illness? (dont just give good words mention if u disable u got 200k, if dead got extra 100k, u can go to all clinic as we dont have any panel.. even for other insurance u can go to non panel clinic in-case emergency)
IF this people asking about your HEIR (PEWARIS), please just leave it blank, will fill up later, need to decide how much (%) to put for each PEWARIS.
SHE did ask me about this offer is for today and tomorrow only, so no need to fill up form, just give your IC, address and the key point, your credit card / debit card, i TIPU bulat2 said that I dont have any credit card at this moment since my previous one is already expired and need to wait for new one to come, and she ask about debit card, just said still using the one card (maybank black + yeloow card) even though i actually have the debit card,
SHE then said there is other option, you can used your wifey card for 1st payment and next month you can change it / pay to counter / pay via CDM, think youself how to answer this, i have my own way :) i bet you also smart how to get out from this.

- geegee| 4 repliesReceived a call from this no last week 28/3/2013 at 7.20pm when I was on my way back from work.
A guy was online and he said that he's calling from Celcom. He mentioned that my phone no was selected to change to a postpaid Celcom line (I'm using Maxis). He also mentioned that it's a one-time promotion only and I can't get this kind of promotion elsewhere. He asked me how much I spend every month for my phone line and I replied about RM100. He then said that with the new celcom line, I only need to pay monthly commitment of minimum rm40. I only listened to what the guy said. Then he said that he need my address to send the new sim card and asked me to where should he post it; home or office? I knew there's something fishy going on, I then asked him what if I want to go straight to the celcom service centre and pick it up myself. He then straight away said that if I don't believe him, I can check celcom's official website for the service plan offered.
After that, he asked me again for my address. I just said that I need to discuss with my husband first. Then he said that he'll call me back on Monday and he said something really stupid;
"Nanti saya call akak balik hari Isnin. Ni saya call lewat sikit sebab saya kerja lebih masa. Tu yang saya call waktu ni."
I didn't even ask about it. So please be EXTRA careful when someone's asking for your personal details. I'm hoping that the dude will call me back again tomorrow so I can scold him. Damn scammers!- Caller: Celcom

- GrantGot a call from this number. She said she was from Celcom and was offering me a special offer to move my Maxis number to Celcom. She did not realise I already move to Celcom 6 months ago!!! They based their assumption by looking at the first 3 prefix (01X), Since mine was 017, she assume I was Maxis. In fact, I had moved to DiGi 2 years ago and then now I moved to Celcom 6 months ago. When I told her I will call the police, she argue back with me saying that she is genuinely from Celcom and she is doing her work. She continue to argue and don't want to give up eventhough I said I want to report to police a couple times.

- WongThose idiots stopped the call as soon as they hear my voice. Probably they know they can't scam chinese.
- SeanSame here, a guy claimed to be from Celcom said I was selected or won a prize to switch to Celcom postpaid. He's spoke sound like Indonesian slang, I felt some fishy going on. So, I said what are you talking about, non-sense, waiting my time. Then he sunddenly hang-up! I was wondering how he got my contact with a correct full name!!! I bit scare as I just lost my hanphone few days ago.
