Got a call said from hong leong bank fraud department. Went to bank n check the account said to be my fraud acct belongs to Chua Teik Hock acct opened in Kepong.

I just received call from +1 (it is united stated number) at 2:12pm on 18.09.2017 (today) the robot said I got outstanding 3month car loan, I wait then a guy pickup "boleh saya bantu?"
- I got called claimed I had 3month car loan outstanding,
"oh we from HLB"
where about?
"Level 3A, Wisma Hong Leong, 18, Jalan Tun Perak, Kuala Lumpur Wilayah Persekutuan 50450 Malaysia, ,  Kuala Lumpur  Malaysia"

he try asking me, I said "im in the meeting, can I have your phone number to call back, he gave 03-21643939

Just received a call, said I had a personal loan of 48k with HLB and asked me to pay back. I said I dont have a personal loan with HLB, and he mentioned my name and IC clearly to ask if it is me. When I asked for the outstanding amount, he said the entire amount of 48k. I insisted on outstanding/overdue amount and he hung up.

Just received a call from +600321643939 but I purposely did not pick up. Did you notice the +6003........? It's very odd number. I suspect some "ghosts" inside HLBB is working in cahoot with the scammer because I went to update my loan acct address at Klang HLBB last month. A few weeks after that, I started to receive SMS on personal loan and the latest is call from this number.

Just receive a call from this number, is voice recorder, saying i have tunggakan pinjaman dari Hong Leong bank sebanyak 3335, sila tekan ?? untuk bercakap dengan xxxxx

Got the same call as YH, automated call saying I owed them some money and press "9" to talk to customer service but the call ended first instead.

receive a call today, said I did owning the personal loan for 3 months with total RM 3k++ ... don’t bother to entertain them and told them saya tak paham. ini tempat mana? KL mana itu? office saya pun tak tahu.

Receive a call this afternoon.from 03-216403939, computer generated call from purportedly from HLB saying I have defaulted in repayment of personal loan of RM3K plus and asked me to press 9 to talk to the officer.
I hang up.

I also received this call yesterday. I have not been paid 3 months outstanding personal loan which is also HLBB. Malay robot operator asked me to press 0 to talk to the manager. I hang the call immediately as I know I do not have HLBB personal loan

They said I owed them RM3000.

🔶 If they talk about the Public Security Tax and the Inland Revenue Department -  Immediately hang up.
🔶 On all the text messages, do not click on any link - Delete all.
🔶 All phone calls begin with 08-111 - Do not answer them.
If you can do all these you will not be cheated or scammed.
Please remind all family members and friends.

Called me just now using IVR and asked me to dail '9' for further queries. Ignored it.

received a call using IVR saying i have 3 mths overdue personal loan. and press 0 to speak to officer. i dont have any personal loan

Just received call,but is operated service,use malay language she said i have overdue Rm 3300 three months ago

I received the same call today.saying i owe Hlb 3mths due for personal loan amounting 38k.
I got shocked of my life..i dont have any accnt with hlb or even take any facility with them

Received this call too..I suspected someone has leaked our data to this scam.

Automated system speaking in Malay said I got outstanding balance of 3000+ for 3 months. If would like to speak with customer service agent, please press number. Ended call & ignore.

Did not answer the call, but ended up receiving a voicemail from the number. Its an automated system spoken in Malay regarding your account balance having 3k plus over 3 months already. To speak with their so called ‘officer’, press the number; 9.
