i just received a call from 26163999, they asking for my husband name and mentioning abt crime case too... i just shut the phone off... haa... then i search the number, and i found this page...

i received the call just now, then follow some of the steps mentioned in the forum asking for his police id, and report no. he gave me those info and very angry that i do not believe him. i went to make a police report, but police told me they cant check it for me. Same case ask u, also mention one is Yap, another one dun know. Gave me hong kong police station number ask me to find Lo keong. hahaha.

This morning.24th Oct 2012 (9:09am) I received a call from +60320319999 and it saya with a bad Malay accent i this he is not local.  He says this person a girl with this name is involved in a case.. and i said is wrong number. then he says Oh.. then he pun down the phone.

i not think so that on myside, because i has settle of the porject, now i on my time for rest......without headech

i also received the call from this no.0320319999 saying the same stroy and ask me to reply ASP CHONG 014-2725892 ,but i don't care about it, but he call me again and again but still leave it,

I also just received a call today(17/7/2013, 10:34am) from 0326163999 by a chinese guy claimed he is from a police station opposite Pudu Jail. He address himself as CP Wong (016-7977856) and mentioned the same story as two persons (Lam Hung Heng and Yap Chun Hong) was caught by HK Police and have my details(Name and IC) with them. However, I told him I never knew that 2 fellas but he continues his black magic on me.... Too bad I was busy that time and told him i got to go..

I also received it today. same incident as you...about 9.22am...

Had the same call (and same story) as YH Tan an hour ago. I called the police station opposite pudu jail and they don't have such a police. The police advised me to make a police report at the nearest police station.

I received a call this morning at 11.48am from a CP Wong regarding 2 men, same as YL Tan story. He asked me to contact HK police and gave me the number, trying to advise me to call HK to prove I dont know the 2 men. About an hour later, he called again to say he had informed HK and advised me to call HK again. He had my IC number and full name.

I received this call on 19/7/2013 1224pm  when i was overseas.. at first it sounded so real..and he keep asking where i am and minta kerjasama for a case. When he mentioned about his title+name.. i only caught his name and repeat "is it Ong Ming Teik?". He replied me that he is chinese but continued to speak in bahasa pasar with me. "Lu boleh kerjasama dengan wa tak?" and gave me his phone number same with YL Tan's the 016 number..kept reminding me to call him back when i come back.

This almost caught me worry at first...but like to remind others..Do not get panic when the caller said he/she is police...we should not be afraid of that.

Glad to find these notes here..at least i am certain now this is really a SCAM. Good to share the story. Funny thing is how do they get my name and number.

Just receive a call fr this number too..... Ask hin to use better trick.... this trick is outdated ..... just ask him to get the hell out.....disturbing my sleep....

some time they use 0326163822 and use Bukit Aman Hotline number, portrait himself as lee thian hock

same as what Ju was saying,,two suspect,,,and tell me i am involve this and that,,stupid idiot using same old tricks to con people, talk in Bahasa but call himself tuan yong, they always use tuan yong, i let him call couple times and just him talk to the air,, then i hang up,,,if is real police investigation, they won't call you ahead, not as dumb i hope

I got a call from 0326163822. The guy threaten me and shout on me, saying that I am not giving full cooperation to disolve my own problem, he will give me a warrant anf put me in the jail for 2 weeks. After I call to Bukit Aman service call centre, they know is a same scam and explaning to me how they want to get money from the victims. So scary.... (P/S: They are still so stupid, using the same HK citibank and the name of Zhong Wei Tek and Yap Chun Hong.)

Received similar call from0326163822.  Asked me to verify ic no. and go to bukit aman.  Can police do something to arrest them.
