Got a call at 7in the morning hunting me to press a number  I just put it down

lots of calls. silent when answered

As with Ross a call at 7am. As my Mother is in hospital it panicked me. These people should be put against a wall and shot!

Not sure if a prank call but they hung up when I answered.Very frustrating as I was in the middle of helping my 90 yr old father !

It is a text to speech service by BT... if someone sends a text message to your landline this is how you receive it... usually asks you to press a button and reads the text out to you.

Got a call at 7 amand no answer

Got a call from this number at 7am today. Didn't leave a message. Can they be blocked and stopped from doing this? Is it an Australian number?

Got a call from this number ~ automated voice saying I had a text and I either could listen to the message or save it for 24 hours, I opted to save it and the voice said had been saved and that I needed to dial a number to retrieve. The number was given once very swiftly and of course I didn't have time to write it down!  Is this some sort of scam?

This number called me tonight at 9.20 pm uk time , I didn't answer , as I was busy . What's wrong with these people , ringing at that time of night !!

Called at 7am. No one there. Returned call to hear a recorded message saying go to a particular website for more information. As my brother-in-law is presently dying of cancer I thought it was about him. Surely BT can sort this out

The call was from the lovely parcel delivery lady to text that my parcel was to be delivered today.

Got a call at 7:11am this morning from this number. Panicked as it is unusual for somebody to ring the landline at that time of the morning. Turns out it was a courier service like the above user said telling me that a parcel was due to be delivered today. Why they phone at that time though I don't know. Good job I was already up for work!

Caller phoned at 7am said I had a text message and to ring another number didn't bother, as I thought it was a scam.  This is quite annoying as I have ederly relatives.

Called me at 7.45am with a difficult to understand computer generated message. I allowed it to keep repeating itself until I recognised the words "today, delivery, Parcel Force". I did not listen to the text message. It genuinely WAS a message about a delivery as Parcel Force did show up a couple of hours later with a delivery for me.

I received a call just as I was walking in 20 mins ago to say 'he/she' had seen me in TV: as I am one of Dr Ian Paterson victims I am anxious to find out, but am unable to return the call?

This number called twice within 1 hour, I did not know the number, so did not answer.

Have received calls from this number saying you have a text message press 1 to listen 2 to save and 3 to delete. I delete each time. Don't want to chance answering. One call even gave a mobile number that was leaving the message but it was so garbled and quick I didn't get chance to write it down. Impossible to know if it's genuine or not

Just had a call at 7.02 am and we pressed one to listen to the message and it said nothing, tried deleting it it's just rang again at 7.38. It's Argos for us as I ordered a clothes rotary dryer on eBay but was via the Argos outlet. I ordered something from Argos a few weeks back and even after delivery this was ringinging constantly all through the night also, at 10pm, 11pm, 1am, 2am even  at 4am in the morning. Everytime we tried to delete the message it wouldn't work. Had to eventually disconnect the phone it was that bad!

This number has now rang 7 times in the past 4 hours

Nuisance phone calls from this number at 7am and again at 7:09 am.
Not amused!
