This is a BT text message - in this day and age this is ancient technology and very irritating! BT need to rethink this! Like many people who posted here, I have a family member ill & this scared the hell out of me calling early morning! Thankful for everyone’s comments which helped me to decide to trust the no and retrieve the very hard to understand electronic voiced message!!

Rang at 07.04am. Stopped ringing before I could get out of bed and answer. A message was left on our answerphone service at 07.08. A difficult to hear message from Parcelforce about a delivery was left. Parcelforce duly delivered by 08.16am.

No idea who this is from. States it is a text service but asks to press 1 etc. Is it a scam?

Received text message can't access &, doesn't switch off. Says its aql text

This number has phoned three times this morning in space of an hour and I was nightshift.arghhh

Have just received a call (9.30am) from this number saying you have a text message, press 1 to listen, 2 to save and 3 to delete. I received a call from this number a while ago telling me a parcel was due to be delivered (waking me at 7am) - but I had ordered nothing, so this time just put phone down. The sad thing is that this could well be a genuine, important, message, but these days you never know what is going to happen once you press the numbers you are told to!

It's a number based in France, just said this is an sms text service etc, I done 1471 jotted the number 033 3 33 34 40 00 and my truecaller app detected it as someone called Jam

Had a call from this number, which went unanswered, about 1500 GMT 25 Sept 2018

Just received a call from this number. Telebot asks me to press 1 to hear an SMS message. When you press 1, the original instruction simply repeats itself ad infinitum. Bloody annoying.

Asking me for a password to my laptop and saying that I would be in bed when I received the message. The voice is disguised.

I have BT Guardian ( Excellent ) the phone rang once and it came up on the dial banned Number. Out of interest I dialled 1471. And the no 0333344000 came up. I decided to investigate and started to read comments. I noticed some people mentioned a parcel delivery message. I didn't ring number, but an hour later I received a parcel. I asked the delivery man about the number and he told me it an automated message from parcel delivery firm. Thought this may put people's minds at rest. Hope this message has been a help X

This is a BT text to speech service.  Sometimes people send text messages to your landline by mistake ,sadly the poor quality electronic voice is not very clear and can be confusing

Woke us up 7am Boxing Day after we'd  only been asleep for 4 1/2   hours . No one there. We will now have to unplug the phone everytime we go to sleep.

Is this a scam. I could not make out the message because of the echoey effect

I doubt that very much. It is a silent number and it rings you a lot says nothing. 8 Times in a row here. It wants you to ring it back usually at a really high rate. It is a nuisance call. Texts go straight through to landlines.

Nothing to do with BT. This number is used in Australia and China. I
I had a call from this number and it was Chinese scammer.

Had several calls from this number on all days of the week at various times. Listened to message on more than one occasion. It was a Chinese scammer wanting my bank details to pay for a parcel they want to send me. I have not ordered anything.

Had a call from 0333344000..... at 7 ........I didn’t answer it or check 1571 .
