If anyone thinks that the nuisance calls from DBM Consultants are invading their privacy, they should feel free to give this guy their opinion.

I am paying Telstra for a silent unlisted number.
I am registered on the Australian Government’s (ACMA managed) ‘Do Not Call’ register.
https://www.donotcall.gov.au/onlineNumReg.cfm
It should be clear to these DBM jerks that I do not want to be called.
In the interest of their clients, DBM should respect the wishes of those who have registered.
In the past <18 hours (Friday pm & Saturday am) three (3) calls were received from this DBM mob.
Did not answer the first two calls.
Using *10# the callers number (03-88622400) was retrieved.
Third call I answered.
The caller from DBM got piece of my mind, with DBM having woken me up twice this Saturday morning. (We don’t all have the same sleep pattern/hours!)
If these nuisance calls from DBM continues, I will be calling Steve Luxa at 3am, when I am working, to conduct a survey in relation to the subject of nuisance telephone calls at very inconvenient hours.
If this country had a Government with some substance and guts, ‘Research companies’ would not be exempt from calling those registered on the ‘Do Not Call’ register.
But that, of course, would also prevent the political parties from commissioning voter surveys.
As we get closer to the next federal election due to be held no later than last quarter of 2013 you will know it when the survey phones are running hot. - LisaI got this call last night at 7 pm and they keep on calling me and I'm also on the do not call list. I really annoyed that they call on my mobile phone at any time just to hassel me for no reasons.
- Caller: 0388623400
- aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaI don't want to report this number to a forum. I rang them back and only got a recorded message with basic info. I want to be removed from their list and blast them for hanging up when I answer.
What I don't want to do is become another forum response with the dumb reply "who keeps calling me?" or " This is annoying or weird or strange." I know it's just marketing companies getting our numbers. What I want to know is how to stop it. So if a site like this can't do it then why have this site at all. Just make a stupid facebook page so you can all post and [***] without any constructive results.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Joe Schmo replies to lauren| 1 replyHere's a tip Lauren, answer the call, politely say you aren't interested and then hang up. Guess what happens after that - no more phone calls!
- Tam replies to Joe SchmoOh, if only. You must be new here.

- CBA victom| 1 replyI revived a call from 0388623400 I did not answerer it, two weeks ago I revived numinous calls from the CBA harassment line 02888 79600 look it up!. I suspect that the CBA could have employed this "research" mob.
if this is a research company they should always state that there a research company for.... not that the are from the company they are contracted to make calls on behalf of. if this company is as unethical as the CBA I advise to not answer the calls and make a complaint to the company if this continues. I will continue to not answer these calls and log each time they call. I had had enough of the CBA's disgusting behaviour and am cautious of any unknown calls after being placed in a situation, that a CBA permits and condones an employee to stalk your bank account almost every day up to three times a day make loan applications in your. but the CBA must believe its unreasonable to be permitted information regrading these loans. i belive the CBA and the employs simply think regulations and legislation do not apply to them, or the make it that way by insuring that the place can not be found -Vic Corporate Hawthorn East, the CBA is a provider for. or the business bankers Mr Stephen J Reddie do not need to comply with regulations and legislation. What rights does the average person have?- Caller: suspect
- moniker replies to CBA victomThe number 03 8862 3400 has been trying to call me for a few days. I've taken my message bank off my mobile phone. Interesting if it's CBA behind this, as I haven't had an account with them since 2010.
- Jake replies to HBlaatandIts very easy to not be called again. If you are not interested in the survey, politely say to the interviewer you are not interested and to be put on a list so that the company does not call you again for any of their surveys.
Its not difficult. - Linda J Laud replies to MoonJewel5If you have any doubts about the good faith of the caller you can just ask them to contact you in writing first and see how they react. You don't need to give them your address or any other information. You don't even have to identify yourself. If anyone has to prove their good intentions it's the person calling you. If they know your telephone number they will also know your address. My experience is that they express disappointment over the phone and they never write to you.
- Block ThemHey all, just a tip, if you have an iPhone 4S or higher you can simply click the missed call number on your phone and block all calls from that number in future. Works every time. Block block block.
- KatI missed a call from this number and when I called them back I got a recording saying they were a marketing company
- Caller: Marketing
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Joan Borg replies to JacquiYes they said the same thing to me and knew a lot of information
