I had a call from 0388722000 to my mobile at 2:30 pm on May 14 2014.  I answered on the first ring, but they hung up.

I got call from this number and was wondering who'd have been calling me. Found that it was because i tried NAB's online debt calculator while i was logged in to my NAB account and they're following up if I need a mortgage :)

It is NAB. Can't be debt collectors as our accounts are in good standing. I got the fellow to give me the main NAB number and his extension so I could call him back. (He didn't want that but I need to identify him.) When I called back they couldn't see there was any need for his call and it wasn't noted on my account. NAB needs to have a clearer - and auditable - system re these calls.

I have marked the number on my phone and will not answer it again.

I rang the NAB yesterday about a funds transfer problem I was having and the woman told me that she'd sort things out and ring me back.  She rang back on this number.

Definitely the NAB's number and not necessarily debt collection.

I've had a few calls from this number. It's annoying as the computer delay won't connect the person to me so I can tell them to Go Away.
Pretty inept of them as we closed our NAB accounts to go with a different bank over a year ago.

Australian number, it's the National Australia Bank. They should leave a voice message asking you to call back on their 13xxxx number. In my case, they were checking on the validity of a transaction.

To bypass the voice recognition system on their 13xxxx number, just punch # repeatedly (30 times should do it). Then you'll get a real person to speak to. I hate these voice recognition systems!

It's NOT a debt collector, this silly system doesn't allow you to specify a meaningful call type.

THEY CALL ALL THE TIME , I ALWAYS ANSWER AND SAY I AM NOT A NAB CUSTOMER AND NEVER HAVE BEEN SO HOW DID THEY GET MY DETAILS? WHEN I ASK THE QUESTION THE LADY ALWAYS GOES QUITE THEN STARTS TALKING ABOUT NAB , I VE ASKED THEM NOT TO CALL ANYMORE , BUT HOW CAN U ACTUALLY STOP THEM AND HOW DID THEY GET MY MOBILE NUMBER?

This was NAB confirming a transaction that they blocked because they deemed it fraudulent. I advised them it was NOT fraudulent and they confirmed to try again in a few minutes. I didn't have to confirm any information to them at all, they told me the merchant and I confirmed.
Better than Westpac/St George who just block your entire card until you call them!
