Same happend as two days ago, they called our number, I answered, silent on the other side, then they hang up, thanks for all your reports

just took a call from Simon "tell the owner Mr Parker is on the line" I love putting these types of calls through to the business owner, he gives them a what for. Or we put them through to the sales guy, he will talk there ear off.

Same story, they call and ask to speak to the business onwer and hang up when told they are not available. Do they really think anyone is going to pass such unsolicited calls to thier employer anyway??

these guys from Teligent, have now called approximately 60 times since the 1st call i told them i wasnt interested. it is now a 2 to 4 times a day call, that doesnt answer, just hangs up, like it is set to call and then hang up upon answering. surely there is a law against this.

and he just called again..  sigh.. do these people really make any sales?? who is stupid enough to actually take them up on their dodgy deals.

Repeated calls from this number. Have advised that we don't take sales calls. Very annoying

I had a phone call from a so called "Harrison". I love how they try & pick Australian names. Do they think a Surname for a First name is very common?
Very rude to me when I was screening his call. He told me he would ring back for the owner. I politely told him if he wished to call back I would still screen his call before transferring him.
I wonder if he'll call back?

Calls from 03 9827 1219 - when answered there is no response .... Alstonville Florist receives an average of one or two calls per day from this number.

How do we stop this happening.

When will these dumb TMs get the message that as soon as they start talking in their thick sub-continental accent and with their incorrect English, business owners immediately turn off.  And what SME owner switches their phone when called out of the blue by an unknown telco?  Price, while important, is not the key decider for business phone lines.  Trust is important, and how can you trust people who market themselves so poorly?

And why on earth do they call on a Saturday?  Don't they have ANY understanding of the Australian business environment?

You know I don't hate anymore, simply I dont let it annoy me, so I stay on the line nand in the same measure give back to those who would cause anger in me, first then they wear it get them before they get you and don't play their game, why waste time, use it for a release, they sure do, back at ya grassholes.

This person/persons rings at least once a day everyday and just hangs up.  So sick of phone calls from telemarketers.  It should be classed as harassment

Hi Chaz we have had the same problem, they keep calling not speaking.I returned the call back to 98271219 with some jerk saying hello then hanging up.The number is a South Yarra/Windsor area.They have called many times at first I thought it was for a fax.Making a complaint to telstra/police if they keep doing it.Their is a young child in the house so we are not impressed.

Ring 132200, they have a complaints process.

Take note of who you speak to when making your complaint.

Every time you recieve a call note the time of the call and ring them each time to lodge a complaint. If it then continues you have a record of each occurences and you will have more chance of getting something done.

I just had a call from Inteligent Australia telling me we are going to receive cheap calls this and that and I spoke to pamela, frank and then daniel . I dont have to do anything apparently I am still with Telstra nothing changes and then they pass me onot the "activation manager" - if they are activating something then something has to change so I ask a few more questions and low and behold I am nearly unwittingly changing service providers.....nice try guys.

Got called from this number and saying they are not telemarketer and in the end offered me a telephone solution. I just wasted 2 mins of my life for this crap

Got a call from this number asking about the business owner's ABN?
When asked if they were from the Australian Tax Office (why else would
someone be asking about an ABN?) the caller (an indian woman) replied no.

When asked to leave a contact number for the business owner to get back to them
she declined and quickly got off the phone.

Don't know who that was. Beware!
