05601 678657.  Called. Female, said she had called the wrong number. 10pm on a Sunday.  My landline is ex-dir and very few people have my number.

What is BT Voip anyway?

05601 appears to be BT Voip, appears that the usual cold calling companies have started using voip as it will be cheaper than a standard landline! also makes it a bit harder for people to trace them and complain due to it not giving you a real area code!

Number that called me started asking me about Sky then just hung up when I couldn't understand the asian accent.

05601290796   Caller advised my 90 years old mother her TV signals have now changed to difital(which they have not) and asksed questions about a digi-box.

keep getting calls from a 0560 number they dont leave a message so a little concerned

Got a cal from this 05601637070, they claimed to be after someone other than me but sounded suspicious

Its when people have a bt home hub and they cant get a signal for what ever reason so the phone call comes through skype and their bt internet

A caller from 05601 294515 asked me if I was Mrs Tits. Then she said wrong number.

recieved a call from 05601293311 asking about my sky insurance, turns out its a scam, they took £22 from my account before i managed to cancel card.

just had a call from 05601293311, the man claimed he was from sky insurance and was able to reduce my dd as i had not claimed, first alarm bell rang as i have had a callout, i told him i wanted to cancel my cover and asked him for the add to write conformation of cancelletion and he hung up!

Got my first 05601 call today but missed it.  Judging off these posts, it looks like I could be getting more calls.
