05601

05601 is a UK voice over IP (VOIP) STD code. It is not skype nor BT. I use it as my only telephone as it is much cheaper than either a landline or a mobile.

I'm not a scammer or a cold caller and 05601 is no better nor worse than any other STD code.

we received a call at 0800a.m and it was someone screaming in pain i thought it was my daughter who is pregnant, i called an ambulance and when i got to her house the para-medic was already there and everthing was ok. i reported it to the police. i then rang this phone number 05601915699 but nobody answers.

Fairly brisk/brusque woman caller started off asking for email details as she was "going to send me a list of questions" ... but the went into a .... 'I can't here you tailspin' and disappeared on me. No reply to my call back. Curious, that's all.

I've had a VOIP telephone for over a year a 05601 number.

I'm like any one else with a telephone at home, its just I've got an STD number that people don't recognise.

Main benefit is that it is part of our broadband, so we don't have to pay for another line just for a telephone, which is a big saving :)

Call came in from employment agency - Protech Training Ltd. Don't like the anonymity.

Called my mobile at 18.37 on 15th June. My phone was switched to silent so I didn't pick up. They didn't leave any voice mail.

my son's landline is an 05601 number.I usually call his mobile but recently had to contact this number from my 02 mobile. I was shocked to find i was charged nearly 20p per minute to call this number. more than i pay for calling 0845 numbers from my mobile. Wd like to know wny it cost so much!

This number called me at 10pm and has called before, As I am ex-directory I am very unhappy with this happening, How do they get access to ex directory numbers ? !!!!!!!!!
