This number keeps calling us, several times a day, for the last few weeks. Tonight my husband answered & after a delay (which I would have put down on) 'Robert' asked if husband was the home owner. Husband (cannily) said no, it was rented. This works - they thanked him & put down. Hopefully, them thinking the house is rented will put them off for a while, but I too would love a website I could use to block calls like this.

Trying to sell loft insulation. Wouldn't let me speak, very rude and hung up once I managed to start talking.

Is there anyway to block these numbers, im really fed up with them :(

to me it sounds like phone companys  cashing in on a income strange numbers dont  existed yet they can call you and to have them blocked cost you again ? strange

Just called me shortly after Wiggo won. Told them to pee off or similar

Phone rang, i answered it, it connected to a man who i asked which compnay he worked for. he then began reding a script i said i wanted to know who he worked for and why he was calling me! he refused and began arguing me and said he hadnt clled i said his company had and i have asked for my name to be removed. he asked the company name i said i didnt know, after himm telling me it wasnt the same compnay  i still dont know who they are becasue they will not tell me! he said i just had to say wrong number, which is how i usualy respond followed by take my name off your list! the name they use is not mine but they always ask for the same mrs. morris. he gave an address which is not mine. i only have the phone for internet access and my gran is the only person who calls. i could hear the noise of a busy call center in the background.

Had two calls so far this morning . No one speaks and when I try to ring back says number bot recognised. How do they get my ex directory number and how do I stop them

I'm getting at least 2 calls a day from this number - I answer and hear a ring at the other end then the line goes dead - driving me insane!

This is a call from India. Claimed to be calling about insulation. What it's got to do with them I don't know. Seems to me they have got a phone book and ring every number in it! Maybe they're trying to claim money for households who've not had it done.

I receive these calls nearly everyday, they are so annoying as they will not stop calling, so.......I decided to give them three very loud blasts of my husbands referee whistle, if they then try to speak I give them another three blasts of the whistle, and believe me it is a loud whistle, I await to see if they ring again, actually it is fun, we are now having a competition to see who can blow the whistle the loudest,I'm winning .

I think our suppliers give our numbers away so we Have to pay for call barring!

Got one call this evening - it didn't ring long enough for my machine to pick up, but as I didn't recognise it, I have added it to the [ever increasing] call barred list on my phone, which is a service I am very pleased to have and which I don't pay for as BT provides my service.

keeps ringing me ,says nothing and leaves no message

I was called from this number and when I said that the home owner was out the man replied by saying i was lying and should die, also that the graveyard was the place for me, I hung up and took the number thinking I would be able to find the company linked to the number and report the incident but I have had no luck doing this.

Rang asking for owner of the household, I asked if I could take a message as they were out and they hung up on me.

Many calls from this number. Never anyone there. I'm also ex directory. Rang it back and the number is not recognised.

Got a call from this number it went quiet when I answered then I heard a call centre in background then it went it to a foreign Indian jingle paying then it cut me off - completely ridiculous so the next time it happens I will lead them on and have a laugh at their expense. Someone should do something about this.

This call unnerves me.  Like everyone else I want this caller stopped from using my number.
