070................ numbers are very expensive to call. Maybe this is a scam to get you to phone them back?

I had a flyer through the door which said I had missed a delivery and to call this number. I did call and it was a very unconvincing lady who told me I would have to wait for several minutes before she could find the package information. I hung up after about a minute and a half because I thought it was a scam. I called BT after and checked with them. They couldn't confirm it was a scam number but said it was a 51p per minute line and that it was the kind of number that suits scams like this. So it seems like a scam to me. Don't call the number at all and certainly don't stay on the line for long unless you want a hefty bill.

Received an email from markantony376@yahoo.co.uk headed EPS Shipment Notification saying an attempt had been made to deliver a parcel and asking me to phone  07030808311 to have it redelivered.  Dont think I will having read previous comments.

I have received the same email including a delivery ref number at approx 2:45 pm.27 Jan 2014.   I'm not due any package and no delivery card left. Also no company e-mail address and £1.50p per minute for  070 numbers..    MUST BE A SCAM

Had the same email today from Marlk Antony. Very unprofessional looking email at that. Not got anything on order either so I think we can safely say this is a big fat scam!

got e-mail today 27th January 17.09 that I missed a parcel delivery EPS Shipment and to call TEL:07030808311,  [markantony376@yahoo.co.uk] and a shipment number.  Like others today seems to be the same scam

Ditto, pure scam, phoned them again and asked them to phone me back -"oh sorry sir, that's not possible" reply. Deff a scam, save your self 50p a minute call

I wonder how much money they're making from this scam and what can be done to stop it?
Didn't phone the number myself, but there must be plenty of vulnerable people who did /will do.

just been caught by this also.  one email received on the 28th January and another today 29th January.
Has to be a scam...  I was expecting a parcel but when I rang up they had to "go to the delivery dept".  I hung up at 2 mins.

I have just forwarded this email regarding a shipment from a Mark Anthony, to the City Of London police, to their fraud department, as some people are innocently phoning this number, and obviously getting ripped off.

Hopefully they will ring the number given, or trace it back to the people involved.

I've just found the same email in my junk box which made me suspicious at once. I will write to the police though I'm sceptical if they will do anything about it. If many people write to them, they will probably take action.

I got one of these e-mails and as I am not expecting a delivery, I know it is false. However why is 07030 808311 anything more than a normal mobile number which I can call for free on my contracts?

I hate these scams we all work hard for our cash but these parasites just rip people off the phone companies should block them !!!!!!!
