bloody d...heads keep harrasing me for the last 3 weeks even asked for my missus..how would they know her name?...anyway how do i get rid of them?

I just got a call from them but missed it.

This is the first time and I hope the last.

I don't think I've ever gotten spam calls on my mobile before..not sure how they got my number. I have been applying for jobs lately, maybe they're placing fake ads out just to get peoples details out of them? Thats all I can think of.

damn. i just got my first call from them. didn't get to the phone in time to answer. they didn't leave a voicemail message. glad i didn't call them back before googling the number!

They called again today! two days in a row. If they call again I'll make sure to get to the phone in time and tell them to go fruck hoff.

They even left a voicemail this time "hello is ross there? could i speak to ross please?" in an Irish accent. I thought it was a leprechaun.

Have you tried my recommendation?  E-mail them, saying how much multiple unsolicited calls put you completely off anything to do with their products, also go to the federal government's site at www.donotcall.gov.au and register your number.  This (appears to have!) worked for me.  Telstra, every ready to help (itself), will block the number for a bit over $2 a month, good money for an extremely simple, single operation.  No doubt the other carriers will do the same.  I also had the "Could I speak to *** (Mr ***), please?" trick from male Indian and youngish Australian female voices; the only trouble was that they got both first name and surname wrong!  Every time.

I received a call from this number today. I called back but again crackly line.

Don't waste your money, Kylie; ignore them and/or do as I did. They're just eager for your money and you don't owe them a thing, not even a return call.

Thanks Roger. The calls only started today and I didn't see this website until I had returned the call. Since then I have already rcvd 6 calls. I have taken your advise and registered on www.donotcall.gov.au website. Looking through the trail of responses I can see that the company making the calls is Whyndam Asia Pacific. Looking up their websire I found an email address which other have had some success with. I have sent them and email at -customerservices@wyndhamvrap.com asking to be removed from their database.
I will also call their customer service number 1800 021 130 tomorrow during their business hours. Hopefully this will do the trick and I will not have to put up with the months of calls others have had to contend with. Thanks everyone.

Well done, Kylie!  I sent my e-mail to Wyndham's customer service and it's nearly two weeks now since they last rang my mobile, and I was getting up to six calls a day, which I never ever answered.  Mind you, it took two days for the message to sink in!  At least 1800 numbers are charged to the recipient, but I'd not ring at all; the poor bunnies who answer don't make decisions and my admittedly one experience suggests they do finally take notice, be it ever so slowly.

has been calling me consistently for a few weeks now. just hangs up after 5 seconds and is becoming really irritating.

yeah, getting calls from this no. on my mobile, seems like maybe once a day, or every other day, they don't leave messages, clear sign of a bloody telemarketer. Not that I mind much, when I see the no. come up, I select Silent and ignore it.

I have been getting calls from this number too. But i just got a call from 0755128888. I decided to answer it and actually spoke to a person for Whyndam. I told him bout the prank calls and he is going to report it to his manager. Maybe something will come of this. Also, he is deleting my number from their list! so hopefully...NO MORE CALLS!

rings mobile & home phone for a few rings hangs up no message on either phone. calls at least twice a day that i know of.

I get about three missed calls from this number everyday.

Vacation Package

Guy called asking for a fake name mr and mrs Kooma and that they were illegible for a vacation, but that as my number was drawn for a prize i could take up the offer instead.

called me over 12 times in a space of 2 hours.

basically i googled the number, found this, called 2 different numbers - first off i called 07 5512 8888 which is the wyndam resort and spoke to a manager about the prank calls. and then i called 1800 021 130 customer service line for the resorts and the gentleman removed my phone number from the data base on the spot. aparently they run competitions etc in shopping centres and other places and that is how they get our numbers. but i cant recall entering any comp's in the last year! i dont enter cuz i no its a sham and you dont win! and all you get outta it is prank calls!

i hope that they dont call again!

l have been recieving calls from them for the last week and am sick of it.l emailed their customer service and told them to take my number off their database(don't even know how they got it) but l still received a couple of calls since. So l emailed again this morning and said if they didn't remove my name l would consider it harrassment and would do something about it and guess what,they emailed me back this morning and said my request for removal was processed this morning and l shouldn't receive any more calls but to let them know if l did. So to get them off your back threaten them with a harrassment claim,worked for me.

I missed the call from 0755121013 and was wondering who it was from Queensland that was trying to call me.(I know Queensland is 07 ). So i decided to google the number to try and get an appoximate location of where the call was coming from,and then work out which family/friend might be trying to  call me from this number I was not familiar with. Thats how i ended up here at this site. Now i know that this number is from a telemarketer, i shall not bother answereing it. And if they persist, they will get a rude shock.

the number's been calling me day and night. never bothered to pick up the calls but it's getting really annoying.
