I called the 1800 number to be removed from the list only to be called an hour later. I rang the call centre again and have informed them that if the calls continue I will be taking things further as this is no longer telemarketing it's now harassment!

I will let you know what comes of this..... if anything.

I have had a missed call every day for over a year from this number. Sometimes they just call once and sometimes its like 5 or 6 times a day. It is possibly the most annoying thing I can imagine and I finally decided to do something about it and typed the number into google and was shocked to find literally hundreds of people with the same problem. I believe this sort of stuff should be illegal its public nusience.

Low and behold....threatening them with legal action seems to have put a stop to them calling!

 I have received this call this morning. He ask me some questions about you income and singer or else.
 Saying some something about holiday.couldnt understand properly.It is very strange how they can get my no.

i always miss it, it happened every few days then stopped for a couple of months. it just started again. no message left, no idea who it is

After getting up to six calls a day, even at weekends, on my mobile I stopped their nonsense completely in July by (a) registering on the government site www.donotcall.gov.au and (b) e-mailing them and telling them to stop.  It's a mob called Wyndham Asia Pacific aka Wyndham Vacation Resorts and they're on the Queensland Gold Coast.  Their call centre appears to be in India, given the accents. All they want to do is find out if you have any money, then get you to sign up for holidays at a Wyndham resort. In other words, they're just after your money.  A quick Google will get you to their web site where you'll find an e-mail address for Customer Service. If they ignore the ban on calling you, they can at least in theory be subject to unpleasant federal government action.  They're just high-nuisance-value pests.

Try customerservices@wyndhamvrap.com.au as well as Do Not Call.  Good luck!

I've been getting these clowns ringing for months now. I let it go to voicemail and they never leave a message. I answered once and "told" they're doing a "quick 90 second survey", I quizzed the operator about the purpose of his call and he stated he was from Wyndham. I immediately grilled him stating "ah yes, Trendwest" and he got all defensive. I told him to sod off, two weeks later the calls started again.

Wyndham (formerly Trendwest) are a firm which sells timeshare holiday properties using aggressive and intimidating techniques. I reckon they changed their name due to the bad rep they were getting as Trendwest. Give these people a very wide berth, they're timewasters and lower than sharkshit.

Have been receiving calls from this number.
I and others suspect that somehow they get your number after having booked a flight online - qantas appears to be involved - probably not to their knowledge.

reveived call twice daily for the past 5 days

I got a call from this number and didn't pick it up as was busy then i decided to google it before calling back. i thought it might of been someone calling me for a job but i live in melbourne and this is a brisbane number... so thank you :)

They called me 4 times in one day!
5 times a week after I told them I was not eligible!
They just don't understand.
I am under 25 (you need to be over 25)... I do however make over 45k but don;t tell them that !!!

Hung up after 5 sec, I got this call twice in 2 days

received a call from this number and it hung up after about 5 seconds, rang the number back and it answered in the middle of a recorded message about reservations.

Been getting around 10-15 calls per day for a week and a half with no messages left. Decided to call them to see who the hell they were and got a short 'leave a message after the tone' recording with no suggestion of who they actually were. so I googled the number and found this site. I called them directly and asked to be removed from the list. Thinking the link was to the name not the number, I told them that my number now belongs to a new owner. They then told me I (as the 'new' owner) was unable to remove the previous persons name and number from thier register. when I told them I was really the same owner they would not accept that and refussed to remove me. I demanded to speak to thier supperior and they finally removed me. (so they say...we'll see)
Then I went to the 'do not call register' and as my phone is a business phone they would not let me add my number to the list. Guess I'm gonna have to get used to the harrasement.
I could handle it if they left a message and gave you the option to call them. It might be something worth buying. But when they pull this crap, NO-ONE IS GOING TO BUY ANYTHING!! Don't they get it. Scum of the earth.

This number has been calling my mobile once a day for the last two weeks, all different times. Never leave a message. Answered once to just a call centre background noise then hang up. Rang the number myself yesterday and it went straight to an anwswering machine with no information. Dodgy!

I get continual calls from this number.  I have rung and left a message to stop but still it persists.  I think it is taking money from my phone and I am unable to text back to stop, my phone shows a "error sending message", so I have called twice now from a landline and left a voicemail.  No business name is stated when the answering machine answers.

They called me back again, this time they finally answered, the company is Wyndham Estate Holidays, signed up to win something once at a shopping centre, which gives them permission to call even if you are on the do not call register. I asked to be removed from their list, they didn't argue -we'll see i it works.

I have also been getting multiple calls from this number - usually out of hours too, I have never answered but now I know who it is I might!
