Don't give you much time to answer and very frustrating not being able to call back (always engaged)

They have called 4 times in the last 2 days

called me today and i'm on the do not call register 26th may

they called me this morning and then hung up on me

Received a call from 07 5512 7800, no message left. When I called back, constantly engaged

Yup, probably the last 6 weeks every couple of weeks it calls my phone and either hangs up after a couple of rings or there is no-one there when I answer it.

It called me at 5:00 PM on Friday 7th of August (07/08/09). I read the number that was displayed on my phone and searched for it online as it rang, I found this page full of complaints so I let it ring out and didn't answer it at all.

By the way I'm in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

This number has called me on many occasions over the last couple of months, does anyone know who it is, each time I ring it back it just immediately hangs up.  How do you stop it, last time was just now at 10.56am.

to the people saying its a charity. its NOT. if it was for real then they wouldnt hang up when anyone answers! they would say there name and tell u about the charity etc.
its a scam trying to use the name of the charity it seems

have got a number amounts of calls from this number have returned calls once maybe twice just hang up. after reading comments on this page im not the only one. now wondering if anyone of use know each other or are we just randomly choosen....

This number has rung twice now and they hang up as sson as i speak.

Got a call today while I was out - found out when checking Missed Calls

I'm a shift worker, got woken up by this caller.  Very annoying.

Thia number rings my place frequently and either ceases after a few rings or hangs up when I snswer. This is very difficult for me because I have mobility problems and getting to the phone quickly is painful.  
If they just let the answering maching take the call then I could ring back but they never leave a message even when the phone has rung long enough for the answering maching to switch on. I am so sick of their nuisance calls.

I'm on the DNC list. I use my landline ONLY for outgoing calls, keeping the ringer switched OFF unless expecting a specific incoming call. I had reached the point where my landline became unbearable due calls like Careflight ( who rang 20 minutes ago ) Unwanted calls occur almost every time I turn the ringer up & drive me crazy especially when I am trying to rest.

The number is definitely Careflight QLD.  You can call 07 5553 5999 as noted by Paul and they will take your number of the list if you complain.

I should have kept reading. Care flight have called lots before but I did call to be delisted... must have only been off the list for 6 months!

Yeah they called my mobile and said hello im .... and from care flight i didnt answer and hung up
